Independent Horizons Chapter 2 - Part 3 Released! (Updated02082026)
Sorry I’ve been quiet since the last post, as finishing this update kept me really busy. Also, I didn’t get a chance to mention the canceled poll event for this update (yep, that other dream scene). I decided to save it for a specific character instead since it’s gonna matter more in Part 4 of Chapter II.
Anyway, Chapter 2 Part 3 is finally out! 🎉 I really hope you enjoy the story, and if you have any feedback (like about scene transitions or if something didn’t make sense), feel free to drop a comment below.
Here are the new game and main menu backgrounds.
Note:
Default save files are not included in the package, which means you’ll have to manually copy and paste them into your game folder. But don’t worry, I added a button to open your game or saves folder. I haven’t tested it on Mac yet, but I think the “Open Saves Directory” button should work. Hopefully!
Chapter 1 will be updated tomorrow. I’ll be adding upload sync so you can download it in Chapter II.

Pauline-coach dinner being referenced and built up for multiple updates and its just skipped over in a second?
Hello! That scene isn’t forgotten or skipped, don’t worry. There will be a flashback and a continuation of the Pauline–coach dinner in the next update. In that scene, Pauline can gain points, and those points depend on the MC’s actions (whether he chatted with her or ignored her). It might look like it was skipped or left hanging, but that’s how I’m starting the last part of Chapter 2. It’s just a way to show that the next update will focus on that part first. And to be honest, I did plan to include it earlier, but I had some ideas that made me want to wait and think things through more carefully.
