✨Progress Update: Ghibli Rooftops✨
Making progress on September's upcoming Studio Ghibli inspired asset pack. My goal is to make several modular pieces that will allow you to build your own anime style structures (focusing on exteriors), and I believe it's all coming along smoothly!
Let me know what features/modular pieces you want me to add to this asset pack. I'm still finalizing the set, and am open to suggestions 😁
Also, I may or may not have a special animation project I'll be announcing some time soon, so stay tuned for that.
God bless you all! I'm excited to hear your suggestions!

I love it and its inspiring. At this point in my blender journey I'd feel to daunted to even attempt to build a shader like that. I'm hoping to learn about your thoughts process when you start creating something like this.
Like, I dont so much want to know a specific node setup. I want to know how approach building NPR shades in general and your "technique" or theory behind what makes a good shader.
Thats really interesting texture, I wonder if you could create a texture bump map out of that texture to give it geometric depth so when you look at it from different angles you don't see it as a 2D textured plane.
Such a GOATed comment, thank you for bringing up the bump map idea! I'll see if I can make it look more believable from all angles. Already have some ideas on how to do that. I'll let you know how it turns out 😁
Are you projecting the texture onto the plane or that a full on model? Cause I'm curious on you do it
I'm doing a bit of both. The texture is projected on a very low poly model that has just enough depth to make it look like it's a 3D painting. I'm still working on the final version, but it's a really simple process. I'll share more when the new pack releases.
Now THAT is pretty!
Thank you 😊
