Another absolutely cracked video 💀 The way that snow just blankets EVERYTHING around it is actually wild — every surface, every little detail, even the way it piles up and sticks looks ridiculously realistic. And that asphalt… bro 💀 The texture, the wetness, the snow melting into the cracks — this looks like the devs accidentally leaked the next-gen snow physics update. RTX 9000, max settings, zero fu***** pixels left untouched ❄️🎮🔥

It's a preview - pre meaning before, before release. Version 3 is not released yet.

I am new, will you send an attachment with the emails that can show me how to get the upgrades, the last one I had to us A.I. and that was embarrassing.

Dude, I put off using snowymoon, was getting away with other methods like your LOG and tried to get TAA V10 working again, but would not remain stable (crashing during menu transition), took a gamble with light v2, and I have to confess, after tweaking it, it is really nice. The snow looks good man, even more handy when I'm up in Iceland LOL Big respect for your efforts!

As always, you're brilliant; you've taken the game in a completely different direction. thx Snowy

This looks absolutely amazing! The smooth transitions between weather types and the dynamic snow accumulation are top-tier work. Even for a dev version missing a few features, it already looks fantastic. Can't wait for the full release!

Do you think this will actually be in the final build? I remember you tried this in an earlier build, but it never made it into the final build. Also, will the snow affect our trucks’ grip, or is it going to be the same as the rain? Also, I’m pretty sure you’ve seen DLSS 5 Neural Rendering. Do you think you could manage to bring it to ATS/ETS2?

S
Snowy Moon · August 30, 2026

Yes, I solved all the problems and its integrated with default weather system. It depends how game handles default snow so I am not sure :/ Default game with snow enabled keeps road dry but the plugin makes them look wet. When official SDK is released I will add DLSS 5

This looks great, but the question is, what about the roads? Will they be snow-covered as well?

S
Snowy Moon · August 30, 2026

Probably not because it would look weird without tire marks on snow :/ For now I am trying to simulate 1-2 cm snow so roads should be wet because of surface temperature. It is possible to add tire marks but requires a lot of data from game and I am not sure it would be worth it.

I'm very excited about it.
