здравствуйте! полностью согласна с вами. и очень грустно, что сейчас среди компаний есть тенденция «заставлять» работников использовать ИИ я работаю разработчиком. конечно же, на фоне нашумевшей популярности ИИ и наша компания пришла к «мягкому» внедрению ИИ среди разработчиков. и среди своей команды я была (и есть) человеком, который отчаяннее остальных старался противиться этой тенденции. меня очень возмущало и может даже злило, что у меня хотят отнять возможность делать ту работу, которая дает мне чувство самореализации и от которой меня сильно прёт – продумывать архитектуру, искать наиболее оптимальное решение, копаться в документации и изучать возможности фреймворка, на котором я работаю, и кайфовать, когда код наконец-то работает так, как надо. думаю, вы, как бывший разработчик, поймете меня в общем.. да, я сломалась. я скачала этот чертов ChatGPT и отдаю ему самую занудную часть своей работы (по типу правок после ревью кода). но я по-прежнему выполняю свою любимую часть работы самостоятельно, и ирония в том, что мне ЖЕЛАТЕЛЬНО это СКРЫВАТЬ, говоря «да-да, я использую ИИ для этого, всё супер» и очередная ирония в том, иногда у меня есть желание уйти из IT не из-за того, что я разочаровалась в программировании и разработке (хоть я и посвятила этому 4 года учебы в университете + 1.5 года работы, я по-прежнему дико люблю то, чем занимаюсь), а потому что везде этот ИИ: везде о нем говорят, везде его боготворят, и везде его навязывают в общем, какой-то сумбурный пост получился.. наверное, я просто пытаюсь оправдать себя, лол и большая благодарность вам за то, что вы говорите против ИИ. это дает мне сильную надежду <3

In particular, I'm using: High School Management 2.2 and its add-ons Schedule School Events 1.1 Prom Exams Career Day Party Before Prom I usually check Scarlet's Mod List after every game update, but I'm not sure about the current status of these mods yet. Yea this whole ai trend going on in the sims community is so annoying. You cant even scroll through sims related topics on Tumblr or YouTube anymore without that slop being flooded in your face , my Patreon explore tab is full of it. I can’t believe that there’s people out here downloading chatgpt made mods from people who clearly don’t know wtf they’re doing 🙄 I’ve warned a few in Facebook groups about those mods but they never listen and always end crying about how so and so mod messed up their games.

Supporting you 40000% more knowing your stance on AI. I HATE it. As an artist, it makes me ill and really upset. And! The fact that people think they can rely on it for *coding*? If they mess up hard enough, they could cause some serious damage! Thank you for being honorable in your programming!!!

thank you a million times for your mods and your stance i've been cautious and really looking at the modders and cc makers i've been recommending and using and this was...just such a relief to see after some modders being super disappointing this week so thank you for being you and using your own skills and consideration for others and not using ai!

Thank you for taking a stand against AI. I feel like so many people are closing their eyes to the dangers it brings, of which they are substantial. Knowing that companies never have our best interests at heart, why on earth are they siding with suits and helping them ruin this planet and the economic future of others? I don't get it, and I'm so frustrated by watching us run head first off the AI cliff and not be able to stop it because those around me refuse to stand up and stop it. I read a lot of books, many of which were of apocalyptic settings, and I've always thought humanity could not be that foolish to actively push for their own downfall, now I know, those books weren't exaggerating the foolishness of humans, they were actually spot on. The consequence of AI are literally unfolding in front of our eyes, resource hogging, whole towns losing their power companies in favor of AI, large swaths of work industries losing their livelihoods to AI, deep fakes, misinformation spreading, and somehow, seeing all this, a big enough part of the population is pretending that this isn't dangerous? I don't even know what to say anymore. I have never wanted so badly not to be chained to the poor decisions and consequences of others than I do now. To do the right thing and still get dragged down, it's depressing honestly.

Also, while I'm not into programming, my partner is a software engineer and I have enough logic to sort of apply creation in her field vs the progress I've seen for all legit content creators over the years, and one of the biggest giveaways with so many of these AI creators is just... the reaction? to AI? And how they speak of it, as well as their output rate. Also weirdly they also don't stick to like, an obvious "zone" of mods or CC. It's just kinda a ALL THE THINGS EVERYTHING cast a wide net, cos obviously it takes them "no time" or thought and thus they can just "do whatever". (Also it's hilarious how some like to use a very obviously AI generated "NOT AI" label on their images that were already obvious!!) My partner is required to partially integrate AI at her workplace, and, while she's unable to discuss the actual work with me, it's fun to listen to her grumble about how the ones that are utilizing the AI are forced to spend all their time FIGHTING with the AI integrating into the legit work, and then the workers who obviously can only do one or the other thing and how now she's not only covering her coworkers, but now AI and seemingly all combos in-between. Ignoring the amount of time one spends on, you know, I'm not sure the term in programming, but let's say the "rendering" time if compared to video editing? while running tests and such... When she has to work for home it's SO much more noticable how much more headdesks I hear and stress treats I bring to the room for her!!! It's being shoved down our throats and truly. What are the broader benefits of it? There's very, miniscule use cases that could see a genuine benefit on a superficial level compared to all the harm. Ridiculous. In regards to you know, why we're here, your mods. I love em, so much. I wish I had the means to support the modders I love so much, but I'm disabled and me and my partner are more or less financially separate (she covers all bills and i'm sort of like a damn househusband/wife that stubbornly tries to provide quality of life improvements around the apartment because I want to be useful!). So, while I'm like... very much not into the social aspects of the internet and used to do as little as possible to influence algorhythms and the like, I'm trying so hard to show my support via engagement now. Comments, hearts/likes, etc... Hell, just a quick mental boost to know how appreciated your genuine creativity and work are! People deserve to know they're seen, now more than ever. I can't wait to see how the Genetics stuff works, I'm using the early access/beta time period on my unsupporting end to think up methods of testing it when I get my hands on it. In the meantime, I'm cleaning up my folders. XD

This is why you are my favorite creator. I just had to unsubscribe from a modder who was try to justify using ai. It’s literally a no brainer that any use is bad. Hi there Sonozaki! Got your mod news into the list! Thank you for the recommendation! Completely agree with you on the AI epidemic. It's definitely a tough task to keep them out of the list! I'm currently dealing with an AI modder throwing a temper tantrum and taking it personal because I don't track them (after their own admittance). They even started attacking me personally and tried sending people to tell me to add them back. I never even spoke to them before they started harassing me about it and making their post. They seem to think I have a vendetta on them or something. Everyone else does too if they don't agree with them that AI is great. It's AI Psychosis and very concerning.

*applause* I can’t stand how ubiquitous AI has become. Yes there’s some applications where it makes sense (in the medical field for example, where it can analyze images much faster and in some cases better, than the human eye). But for the most part, especially with generative AI, it’s just all bad news. The sheer damage to the environment, the way it contributes to humans losing vital skills like research, analysis, critical thinking, the way it encourages users to forget and devalue the HUMAN who created whatever piece of art or literature the AI cannibalises…it’s just all sickening. I think it has fast become one of the most serious issues the human race faces nowadays and I’m so upset that so many people can’t see that. So thank you for your rant!

You are so right about AI, it’s really sad. The industry I originally started in (translation) has been completely taken over by AI, to the point that your job now is just sitting around and correcting whatever the AI gives you. Luckily I switched careers before it all took off but it’s upsetting to see the destruction it causes in only a short amount of time. I’m glad there are still people in this community taking a strong stance against it because all of these ai slop mods are getting out of hand, I have been thinking the same thing for a while now.

Thank you for speaking out as anti-AI! There have been some big disappointments this week and reading all the ridiculous defenses and shilling for it is so frustrating. Love your mods and I'm glad you had a great vacation!
