Hi everyone! I wanted to thank you for your mod recommendations, discussions, and reviews of my mods. I love seeing how much you enjoy them.
I especially appreciate it because I struggled with an unpleasant issue. From the Summer 2025 Discord Server, Deaderpool (the biggest one we have) suddenly stopped posting my mods without any explanation. All of my posts on the server regarding patch updates are ignored, too. It's ridiculous because many players don't know that some mods are broken — or vice versa — or have been updated, like the Katie mods.
I tried communicating about it on the Creators Board, but honestly, I didn't expect an explanation for this sudden change. However, I did ask that they at least explicitly tell me not to waste my time writing posts on the server.
I received a response saying that there shouldn't be any issues now with the public mods unless it's a personal matter... ;) I got the contacts of admins with whom I can discuss my concerns. Of course, they never replied.
I decided to make it public because I had been trying to solve it for half a year. I believe we are all adults capable of healthy communication, and it shouldn't hurt the players. I mean, I might have done something wrong, without intending to cause harm, but still! All of this could be solved if I weren't the only person who prefers to discuss things instead of ignoring someone. Okay, you can ignore a mod you don't like, but all of a creator's work? At the very least, I would explain the reason for this behavior.
I don't care anymore what the server's moderators think of me if they read this post. I have nothing to lose, lol. Maybe someone who suffers from unclear ignorance will stop gaslighting themselves, as I did.
On the other hand, Scarlett always reposts my mods (thank you so much!), so you can track them on my Patreon, the Scarlett Realm, or Tumblr.
Your contribution and engagement also help me a lot as well!
I hope you enjoy my latest mod for sending custom letters. I worked hard on it all January. I would be very grateful if you showed it to others, even just friends. It still matters!
Plus, I made so many mods while I was sick, and I can't wait to share them! I can't help it; writing code is much easier for me than playing the game ;D Besides, all my mods are compatible or updated for the latest patch.

Deaderpool has never really been the place they claim it is. They have a history of ignoring or even excusing just about every crime that can be committed in such a community (as long as it was committed by a member of the team that EG likes) and if you speak up about it you will be banned. I'm really sorry that you have become another victim of their whims. The only reason I'm still on that server is to get the mod updates posted in my own private server, but it is very good to know that they can't even be trusted with that. Thank you for speaking up! More people should, maybe that would finally kick them off their high horse.
came here to say the same thing! I noticed this creator's content updates weren't being posted, but since I'm not a creator myself and at the time was still somewhat "new" to the drama around mod content creation, I didn't question it much. Hindsight 50/50, though; it makes a lot of sense because I noticed other creators who constantly update, and I'd previously seen mod updates posted that the server wasn't keeping up with anymore.
Thats actually quite terrible that Deaderpools server stopped informing players about your mods! As a player who follows that server AND uses your mods I rely on them to inform me about updating my mods so my game doesn't break. Luckily I also use scarlet but still...thank you for speaking out!
Yeah, as I wrote, it's not me being the main victim of ignorance, it's the players. I'm glad that's a valuable information for you!
You're among friends I guess.. many modders are dropped and silenced on a whim.. be it because one or two political differences, or the mod "Felt" wrong, or the mods have issues with the modders personally.. it really arbitary.. keep on modding, my friend..
I didn't know that there were many other modders who suffered too, so it's even more miserable thing than I thought. It's funny that I don't actively socialize as a modder and I have no quarrel with others. But even if that's one sided, we could talk about it, yet... Such a mystery. Thank you, I will create mods as usual!
I'm a lurker by nature, but have seen drama regarding that server come and go for years. Just wanted to shout my two cents into the void that I absolutely love your mods, am happy you stepped in to update some that needed it, and Mion was always my favorite Hinamizawa resident. You caught my attention for your name alone but your mods speak for themselves <3
That's just so absurd I can't stand it. And yeah, I love when someone understands the meaning of my nickname ;D Shion is one of my favorite female characters ever, and besides that I created Hanyuu and Rika in my game save, spend quite a lot time with them! Thank you so much!
My spouse has been without their laptop for several months (it stopped working July 2025 and has been at a low cost repair shop since October). Once they have it back I plan to gladly recommend your mods to them. Next time I set my own laptop up I plan to look through all of your mods to see how many are appealing to me in general. I appreciate you being open about the Deaderpool server not posting information about your mods. I rely heavily on that and Scarlet's list to check status of mods I have. Knowing where specifically to look for your updates is important. Thank you for all of the work you do. Modders like you make the game so much more enjoyable, and I am extremely greatful.

Glad I'm not the only one who feels iffy about that server. Some of of the rules/demands are off and kinda invasive.

Hi, just saying I totally understand how you feel and I'm not even surprised seeing that discord server name when you mentioned it at all. In fact I realized for a while that they've been ignoring some modders and they do act based on bias in favor. It's not something I want to see in a big group, it should be a place where we share things fairly, not a place to use influence to bully ppl they don't like. I don't even use their support services because they seem unfriendly to me. I still appreciate Deaderpool for his MCCC mod but I think the admin and moderators on that server need to stop acting so entitled for a healthier community. Btw, thanks so much for your wonderful mods, I enjoyed them a lot in game 🥰

Honestly, I don't like the community of people who play The Sims 4 anymore. All you have to do is express an opinion that differs from that of others, and they immediately start berating you. Yes, this is your own space, and I sincerely hope that this doesn't happen to you. Your work is great and admirable, and I am grateful for it. But if I were you, I would have given up on it a long time ago. People are ungrateful, and I've realized that I'm tired of these constant arguments, frustrations, questions, and also publishing content without response or interest. It's better to just play and have fun, relax with the game.
I can relate 😥 I had a burn out because of this. After that I decided to focus more on creating process, since I really love it. And it means a lot for me that there are many people like you who supports me
Seriously I find the whole Deaderpool mods up their own asses, they act like entitled children I mean I understand some of their rules and why they have them but they are so bloody rude if you ask a question and half the time even if you ask questions your ignored.
It's sad because it's the biggest place for support I know :(

Hello! I am very sorry to hear about your situation. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I have heard of situations similar to yours, which is very sad. I am an Italian player and I love your mods! With my TS4 dedicated group, we have created a small website where we keep mod updates and other information. I hope to gradually add many more of your mods with translations. I hope that in my own small way I can help part of the Italian community! Thank You. You are one of my fave modders and I am grateful the transparency. I personally stopped using the Deaderpool discord several months ago because many of their moderators openly ignore people and are extremely rude. Surprisingly since I've stopped using the discord and started doing my own troubleshooting on my game it's run so much better than when I went to them for help
Thanks, that's very sweet of you! I started creating mods to make the game more fun for other players, so I really appreciate it. I never asked for help (because it's my job to figure out what's wrong ;D), so I didn't know about the other users' experience on the server. It's sad to know.
