24.09.2026 UPDATE: Now the bug causing unrelated notifications because of the missing packs should be fixed for real because I added my own pack tests for each notification. If you're still experiencing this issue, please, write the notification text in the comments so I'll find it quickly and add a missing pack test. Though, I hope I haven't overlooked anything this time! The newest mod version now is 1.0.2! Remove the old files!
13.08.2026 UPDATE: Fixed a couple of bugs:
A moodlet about pet adoption will no longer randomly appear (before it was linked to the buggy EA stuff)
Five Masterpieces and Five Bestsellers resolutions will be completed after, actually, five created items instead of one
Hi everyone! Here's my third New Year gift for you! I created it as part of this awesome Advent calendar. It contains lovely lots, poses, CC and sims. You should check it out!
What it is
This mod adds 130+ resolutions of various types!
Not all of them are 'positive', but I wanted to add fun to any gameplay you may have!

How it works
When the Make Resolutions tradition is active, you can find these interactions. I advise you to check all of them from time to time as they may change, depending on your sim life!
You can see the description of resolution in the Simology Panel. Here it says the maximum time you have is 7 days, but that's not true.
All traditions will be prolonged if the year is not passed yet. Every week you'll see the notifications like this. It affects EA and other creators' resolutions too!
If you change your mind or something went wrong, use the Cancel Resolution cheat on the sim.

Hiya, I just got the bug you mentioned, with the multiple notifications. Each sim got 15 different "This year I want..." notifications (strangely only the jewellery, treasure chest, Mt. Komorebi, and "gain a lifestyle" resolutions had an icon (the rest having the little llama picture). I have no idea if this can, but if it helps - the log file says "[INFO] [SonozakiSisters_New_Year_Resolution_Overhaul] Version: 1.0; Mode: development; Core Library Version: 1.43; Game Version: 1.126.78.1020; Generated: 1787300686 UTC; State: 0x00000000; Packs: 0x11e1000000647408ce7f36d76f"

Hi! Is this compatible with the Resolutions Always Enabled Tweak by Sims4me (Bienchen)? I installed both your mod and theirs and I cant find the interactions or the holiday tradition in any menus. If not do you think it's maybe hidden by Tyjokr's tidy pie menu mod?
my lot 51 core is installed correctly and confirms so when I load into my save. All other mods that use it and have a text that appear when I load in also confirm that it is installed and working correctly
Guys I'm a little stupid - I don't know what the differences are between the 1 - 4 week zip files. Is there a difference?
It's all fine! Each version make the resolutions duration is 4x to make it last all year. Say, you have 4 week season length. Then you have 4 week * 4 (seasons count) to complete the resolution during year. With one week version, the entire year is 1 week * 4 = 4 weeks
A silly question: How can I tell if the “make resolutions” tradition is active? I started playing as a teen in winter (28 days).
It's active, when active a holiday that has this tradition. By default the New Year Eve includes this tradition, so you may complete it while the New Year Eve holiday is active (from 6 AM to 2 AM). It works the same with your custom holidays too.
Hi, I was just testing to figure out which mod gives my sims auto adopted new pet moodlet even when they didn't adopt any pets (they have pets in the household that werent adopted anytime recently) at the start of every game and it is caused by this mod. I have the 4 weeks version. So I thought I would let you know, it is not a big issue I can click it away with UI cheats but in case you decided to fix it in the future update. You should use the version of mod for the length of season you're using in the game

No, it doesn't. This mod adds the new goal picker interactions instead of modifying the EA's one. With this mod the resolutions by EA and by other creators will be also prolonged, so they will last entire year too
