About 1.116 Patch
Hi everyone, a new patch came yesterday and brought a lot of changes. I strongly recommend you do not update for a while, if you want to play with the mods.
I won't update until I've finished the mod I've been working on for a few weeks. I'd say it'll take about a week. Then I'll have a look at my mods to see if they're compatible with the latest patch.
I've noticed that some of my mods are broken (Deadly Vampires, and possibly Letter to Father Winter, Advent Calendar and Twins mods). EA changed how weight of random action is specified in tuning files for some reason. 😭
If you get an error message saying something's broken in my mod, please let me know in the comments. It'll help me find broken parts faster.

Do you mean the one that turns off lices? I've fixed it and will publish in the next few hours

I'm excited for the twin updates. I tried to use it before the update and the menu doesn't show. So Im going to be patient and wait. It's definitely needed for my gameplay
That couldn't have been affected by the previous patch. Most probably, you didn't install Lot51 Core, did it wrong (maybe you have an old version) or didn't have the appropriate siblings pair to assign them as twins at that moment. I'll write an FAQ for this mod once I update it :)

Понимаю, я в свой сейв тоже не зайду без проверки особенно этого мода, тоже несколько пар близнецов. Из хорошего: на первый взгляд, патч не должен был его сломать. Проверяла вчера по документации, так что, вероятно, проверка этого мода займет меньше времени, чем я ожидала

I think the EP patch will be less extensive and horrible than this one. I mean, there are so many changes already that it would surprise me if they figure out how to significantly increase its number 🥲
I've been lucky, I haven't noticed much issues, granted I only go into build mod because I am currently building and renoing my sims house, and I am currently cataloging which mods are still needing to be updated, etc. I am currently writing a list in my sims 4 and palia notebook on which mods I need to remove and redownload.
I'm glad this patch didn't affect your gameplay as much as it could have 😅 I advise everyone to keep track of the mods they use in the game too. That's way it'smuch easier to update for the new patch.
I had automatic updates disabled, and EA *STILL* updated my Sims; it would not let me play the game until I went online. Even after I reinstalled a backup version of the game, it still updated. 😡 Guess it's a vanilla game for a while.

I only have LittleRedSonja_ROM_HousesOfWitchcraft and No Umbrella Usage. Unfortunately, I also have game updates automatically set in Steam. When I turn it on, it immediately downloads and installs everything on its own. Plus I already have a lot of other mods updated for this version, so... I guess I'll just wait, although my blog readers probably won't appreciate it. Can't be helped. Thanks for your efforts and great mods. :-)
Thank you too! Fortunately, these mods are unlikely to be broken and I always start by checking the most reliable ones.
Too late I turn on my pc yesterday and it started updating on his own , i have to turn it off for next time 😭

If you disable automatic updates, then you can play safely even now. However, if the game has already been updated, you should wait for a week or two before playing with the mods.
