Eat Autonomous Only When Hungry (In Public 06.06)
This mod stops your sims from cooking or grabbing food (including snacks) unless they are hungry (not just when their motive is yellow).

Divided the mod into three independent modules!
Leftovers – affects get leftovers autonomy
Kitchenware – affects autonomy of hotpot, ice cream machine, pizza oven and so on
Base – affects autonomy of all plain cooking and grab serving, including eating ingredients (fruits, cheese and etc.) Doesn't include previous modules' behavior!
I also fixed an issue where interactions were hidden when a sim was not hungry.
I'm kind of back, though only with a few small mods.
This mod stops your sims from cooking or grabbing food (including snacks) when their hunger motive is yellow (by default, this triggers them to look for food). Now, sims only cook or grab food when they are hungry.
This mod affects all the cooking tools I found, from the fridge and microwave to the candy maker and cauldron. However, I might have missed something, so please let me know if you notice anything!
It is compatible with Base Game versions 1.114-1.115. It also affects any expansion packs you have.

Unzip archive in Mods no deeper than one subfolder.

Hey, do you plan update this mod? :)
Could you add Baking to this as well? I've noticed that since downloading the mod, my Sims keep starting to bake when they go to yellow and keep starting again if I cancal it. Otherwise, love the mod.

But isn't the yellow area the real sign that the Sims and the NPC Sims need to eat?
Yes, but this is annoying for many players because you go into yellow area a lot more often than it should be for average sim. So they just cook and eat only when they are hungry
Hello. This is really a fabulous mod. But I was wondering if you could also do something for vampires who drink the plasma packs in their inventories every time their thirst is yellow.
You mean adjust autonomy of drinking plasma packs to let them be autonomous in specific cases? Sorry, I just haven't played vampires for a while
Hey, after last patch your mod broke "eat leftover" - interactions not show up
Hi, the last patch couldn't break this. Interactions aren't show up until a sim is hungry. However, I will add a script to show them up even with affected autonomy
What about ingredients?

It should affect all sims since there are no special interactions for NPCs
Ooh, so this will stop them making popcorn/instant pot/candy/ice cream all the time? I don't mind when they grab leftovers at yellow but the other stuff is so annoying I always hesitate to buy the objects at all
