Seasonable School Events: 2, 3, 4, 6, 9 and 12 Weeks Version!
Exams, festivals and proms are scheduled just once in a season (including 3, 6, 9 and 12 weeks)!
05.07.2025 UPDATE: Fixed the LE for the 1.116 patch
02.02.2025 UPDATE: fixed every week repeating events. Now all events are scheduled for a period that's 2x from your chosen version to track everything is fine! DELETE old version and redownload the mod.
Sorry for inconvenience guys, I just messed up and uploaded old versions 😭
This mod allows school events such as taking exams, school festivals and proms to be held once a season instead of a weekly schedule. I've written versions to fit all different lengths of seasons: 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, and 12 weeks!
The changes will take effect in the new save or the next calendar cycle in the current save.
Attention! If you want to schedule school events yourself then it's better to wait a public release of this mod (7th February). Otherwise you might wait longer your calendar being reset.
I've set up the event schedule so that events appear on your calendar twice as far apart as you choose.
Important! The game schedules events starting from the first week. So if, for example, you have the 4 weeks version, your schedule is the 1st week of events - 4 weeks gap - 5th week of events and so on.
Example calendar for a 4 week season:

CONFLICTS
Do not put this mod with other mods that change the frequency of any of these events. And it just does not make sense.
No conflicts with scheduling school events mods but just choose one option. It's meaningless to have both. And you can schedule another festivals with Zerbu's mod.

Hello! The link for the 12 weeks version won't open (1.116+) but the other links are opening just fine.
Hi, just checked and it's fine. Maybe try to clear the cache or another browser?
I'm confused as to what 1.116+ is as there's no explanation in the post, and it wasn't there when I last played, which was a year ago at this point. I'm just trying to download updated versions of all my favourite mods. Thanks for any help!
I just updated it for the patch 1.116 because it broke this mod, but after that no changes were needed. You can safely use it
THANK YOU SOO MUCH!! Ive been looking for a mod like this since FOREVER. Why did ea even think prom every week is REASONABLE! making us deal with unnecessary resentful prom invite stuff! THANK YOU SO SO MUCH!
Thank you too!
Hi when i press 4 or 3 weeks for the latest versions it doesnt take me to the downloads
Hi, I'm not sure why, I just clicked it and it worked. Maybe the browser locked the link, or SFS itself. Try again please, the links are correct
Hi, Im a beginner Simmer. Does the mod work on the current version of the game? Sorry if there are any mistakes in the text, the english isn't my first language.
Hi! Yes, it works
Hello I start with saying that i really LOVE the mod you offer us here. Thank you so much for sharing it to us ♥ I am not modder, but i have basic understanding of what i see when opening packages with S4S. But i have no understanding at all of the scripts part ... So after checking what the files look like, i'd like to ask if it is possible to edit package and set each of the 4 different events "weeks_to_schedule_in_advance" and "weeks_gap"> to my prefered values without breaking the mod ? Also, adding some kind of a suggestion. You could offer only 1 variation, but mod uses a simple cfg file user-configurable weeks delays ? Thanks for reading me, love you ♥
Is this mod compatiable with the current patch?
Yes, it's compatible
Hi, please can you help me as I can't figure out which version to use (I read your post, not sure what the 2x appear on calendar mean and what's the use of versions 3,6,9,12?). As in game we only have 3 season length options: 1 week/2 weeks/4 weeks, if I play 4 weeks per season then which mod version should I use? I also use MCCC time speed slower at 35. Thank you.
Hi, 2x version make events to happen once in two weeks instead of every week. 3-9 version is useful for those who plays with the 3 weeks per season mod. 6 and 12 versions are comfortable for playing with the 3/6 weeks per season versions. Another ones are suitable for the 4 weeks version. There is no requirement to use specific version, it's just about your preferences. I.e., I don't want these school events every season and prefer them to happen every three seasons instead. That's why I would play with the 12 weeks version. So, download a version based on preferred frequency.
Would you consider making one for all the festivals and events to not happen every week as well?
I don't modify festivals schedule because Zerbu's Schedule Festivals Yourself has similar behavior actually
Would this conflict with mods that make changes to prom - specifically making prom last longer or activities like increasing prom dancing? I assume it won't since it's not affecting the days prom happens but I was curious.
You're right, it doesn't conflict since different files are modified
how do you make your game 4 weeks
like how is your summer 4 weeks long
thank you so much ^^
Update: This does not work. I played with the 12 week version of this and the exam and prom happened at the end of the first week as usual, and then repeated again in the second week. I have no conflicting mods.
That's because you have to wait the next calendar cycle to let the mod take effect as it's said in mod description. There is nothing I can do because there is no way to change already scheduled events in the calendar
OH MY GOD. Thank you so much for this!
