Crafting a better tutorial experience

As Lust Kingdom grows and new features arrive, we’ve noticed one clear challenge: players need guidance to fully understand what’s going on and how to interact with everything. That’s why creating easy, intuitive tutorials is so important. The faster newcomers learn the ropes, the more of them we can keep, and the better we can continue developing Lust Kingdom into its best self!

When we sat down to improve the tutorial experience, we realized it wasn’t going to be as simple as dropping in a single “how-to” sequence. In a linear game, you can put a tutorial at the perfect moment and be done with it. But in an open game full of menus, buttons, and different systems, the challenge becomes deciding when and how to introduce each element without overwhelming the player.

Our solution? Tie certain features to the player’s account level. First, you’ll learn the basics through short, focused steps. Then, as you progress, we’ll introduce more advanced mechanics — without bombarding you with endless menus or back-to-back tutorials. It’s all about pacing and balance, and we’re getting very close.
