New League Rank Screens - A Matter of Mood 🏆

Today, we’re continuing our look at the user interface improvements coming in the next patch. This time, we’d like to share the updated (work in progress) league rank screens.

Originally, we designed just two versions:

One, bright and celebratory, appears when you're promoted to a higher league after a season reset. A moment like that deserves a proper spectacle!

The other, dark and somber, reflects the disappointment of being demoted, with no lighting and a heavy atmosphere.

But then we realised:
What if a player neither rises nor falls in rank?

Staying in the same league isn’t quite a victory, but it’s far from a failure. Still, capturing that "in-between" feeling visually proved trickier than expected. It took several iterations, but our artists finally found the right balance: a screen that feels neutral, stable, and quietly resolved.

We’re happy with how it turned out.
