Save Brandon Stark or not?
Things to note: Brandon won't be the next Lord of House Stark. By the time the news of Brandon being safe comes out, it'll be too late. Eddard would have married Catelyn and consummated the marriage, bred her with little Robb in her belly. Taken over as Lord Stark.
So, knowing that Catelyn used to be infatuated with him, Brandon will exile himself from Winterfell and instead choose to live with Wylis, wherever Wylis establishes his home base in the North.

I'd save Brandon. He's a Stark. Plus he stood for Wylis and Lyanna being together. Ned getting the North is excellent. Cat not so much, though their kids are fairly awesome. Can I just say, those fucking rewards are ridiculous 🙄. I love it. Now we need to know how many years it costs to be a Dragon Rider 😆 🤣 I'm not sure who I'd put on the throne honestly. They're all shit choices. Robert is his best shot at getting to the women and kids in the red keep though. Saving the queen and Daenaerys, Martell and her kids, would be awesome. Viserys dieing "accidentally" would be ideal. Honestly it could go alot of ways. Did he ever get the gold Cersei owed him for the bet? He won 40k for the tournament (not including the joust) and bet that double against knocking out Rhaegar's teeth. But i don't remember reading he received it. Either way, fun story.
Rickard and Brandon's death is so integral to the rebellion. Seeing as Rickard is not in the poll I assume he will die. Personally I think it's almost required to have them both die. The tragedy of Rickard and Brandon's death, the story of it, really brought the realm together against Aerys. Without that tragedy I feel as if the rebellion is incomplete.
Should Brandon live, it'd be nice to see his reaction to the death of his father. The anger and grief, the self-hatred over his ill-thought actions, worry over his siblings and what they will think when they hear how his foolishness led their father to burn on a pyre. Or will you write a different sequence of events? Will Rickard die differently? Will he die at all? All in all I am just happy to read what you write. It's good stuff.

captured yes. But Rhaegar can do nothing to her. She's in advanced days of her pregnancy.
He is a capable warrior, and would be a boon in that regard as well.

Save him! If he is around even if not the lord he can still have a positive influence on Ned as an advisor since he knows many secrets of lordship thier father wouldn't have shared with him and give him guidance about being more Northern since he grew up in the Vale. Maybe stop him from building that fucking Sept in Winterfell (seriously, just give her a room with an alter).
Not only that Brandon could possibly be able to give Wylis more influence in the north among northerners just by virtue of him deciding to follow him laying down his roots wherever Wylis builds his domain.
Save Lyanna Stark
Don’t save him. I never love the idea of his character. Just typical douche bag college QB type. Petyr killing him by his own hubris was always my favorite tidbit in the books
How did Petyr kill him? His type of character is most lords. And no offense Petyr is the same way. He's just smarter
Why not have Brandon decide to step down from being Thee Lord Stark on his own and decide to build up their fleet of ships again or something else that will buff the north
He is tho. He'll give up his Lordship since Ned already took over and did a decent job at it. Winning the Rebellion.
This would be an interesting change plus this would also stop lady Barbary from being such a cunt. Since she'll get to have her first love Brandon still around and alive. The only issue will be if she cares more about trying to be lady Stark wife of the Lord paramount or lady Stark wife of Brandon stark
