NORI™ - a dating interaction mod + storytelling templates

NORI™ is a brand new dating app that is all about "locking in" on new connections in your area.

This is a dating app concept I created for my sims universe. It's a modern approach to dating culture, and just a fun storytelling element for your sims stories!

Mod Details:

• This brand new dating experience for your sims comes in three separate parts:

• Cupid's Corner Override - OPTIONAL (Lovestruck Expansion Pack Required) : A simple text and image override of the already existing Cupid's Corner. This does not change anything about the app or gameplay elements, only the name / text blurbs for immersion. All existing buffs, interactions, and messages have been altered to fit NORI.

• NORI™ dating profile templates : A set of dating profiles, notifications, match notifications, and DMs for storytelling purposes. All templates are available for both Adobe Photoshop and Canva.

• Fonts used (are included in the Canva version):

  • Surgena (free)

  • Rubik (free)

• NORI Dating Interactions : A set of situational gameplay interactions for your sims to use on their first few dates with someone based on their "dating style"

• A mixture of over 100+ messy, scandalous, and hilarious interactions / notifications / buffs come with this mod and are a true reflection of the current dating pool, which is great for realism and in depth storytelling.

• Mod Details:

  • Base Game Compatible

  • Age Range : YA-E

  • User Directed only

• Dating Styles / Pie Menus:

  • 🔒The Lock In Lover : Wants a relationship fast. Overly going, and overly committed, even if they just met you.

  • 📲 The Slow Swiper : Timid and introverted, the slow swiper is someone who is entering the dating world after either a long relationship or a single era.

  • 🔑 The Key Collector : Casual dater, chronic swiper, a walking red flag.

  • 🤫 Off Record Romantic : Secretly on NORI, typically has a family, spouse or significant other at home, and is swiping for the thrill of not getting caught.

  • ✅ The Green Flag : A healthy and healed communicator. They're honest, sweet, and just looking for a genuine connection.

• At the end of your date, you have the option to keep dating (Lock In), or ghost them. Based on the vibe, different interactions are available for each decision, and a notification, and new buff will be given to both sims afterward.

• To download: Download the NORI dating package files below and install the package files into your mods folder. The photoshop templates are in a separate zip below.

• This mod has been tested and is compatible with the most recent patch update for 12/02. I will be keeping an eye on this mod and will update accordingly. HUGE thank you to my Patreon members for testing both the templates and the mod itself before release, you guys are amazing.
