In 1912 Makeup was getting a bit more accepted than in those old Victorian times.
In those old times, you had to look naturally beautiful and healthy, that was the desired look. What did they do? they just faked it. advertised as medical remedies... they were masters of tinted lipbalms, tonics, creams and... cochineal toothpaste. And that's how those tiny Gosnells Jars ended up at the bottom of the atlantic.
It's just random Information no one asked about.
