Functional Mannequins | Download (Updated 03/05/2026)

Some people experienced a bug where randomized sims would be made as mannequins.
I believe I may have figured out the problem. It may have had something to do with werewolves, which might explain why it never happened to me in my game. I'm not 100% certain since there's not really a way for me to test this, but I think this update should fix the problem! Thanks for your patience!Please download the updated file and delete all copies of the older version!
I've wanted to create new custom mannequins for so long! As far as I'm aware, this is the only mod of its kind, so I had to figure out some tricky things on my own. Mannequins are weird! Did you know that they're basically sims frozen in place? This is probably why they caused my game to crash so much while I was testing. But luckily, they work beautifully now. I'm really happy and proud I was able to make this! I can't wait to see you using them in your retail builds!
MOD OVERVIEW
There are two versions of this mod. Choose one depending on your preference / pack ownership.
Get To Work | Includes original mannequin features + my custom interactions. Note that all mannequins on the lot share outfits, which may or may not be your preference.
Base Game | A simplified mannequin that doesn't require any dlc packs. The mannequin outfits aren't shared like the GTW version, so you create outfits for each mannequin individually. If you do own GTW, this version also includes the original poses. It doesn't have all the extra interactions like buying, trying on, restocking etc. If you like simple objects with not too many interactions, try this version even if you own Get To Work.2 Styles: The mannequins have two styles. The first includes feet, the other hides them.
4 New Custom Poses: Neutral, Relaxed, Cool, and Seated
New 'View Outfit' Interaction: Includes a new custom 'inspired' buff. Style Influencers may also get an additional 'confident' buff. Increases Style Influencer and Fashion Photographer job performance. For creative/materialistic sims, it can be 'admired' and increase a tiny bit of fun.
Mannequin Stand: This (optional) object has a unique footprint and slots that allow you to easily move and display the mannequin.
WARNING! Your game will probably crash if you use the T.O.O.L Mod on a mannequin.
You can place it on the included mannequin stand and use t.o.o.l to move the mannequin stand instead. You can find it in build mode by searching "mannequin stand".
OTHER NOTES:
This is not an override and won't impact the original Get To Work mannequins.
The game limits mannequins to 10 per lot. This mod bypasses that. BUT the limit exists for a reason. Since mannequins are basically sims, they impact performance more than regular objects. The more mannequins you have on a lot, the less actual sims will spawn. At a certain point, employees and customers won't show up.
Compared to GTW mannequins, my custom tuning has a smaller impact on the spawn rate. But if you use a lot of mannequins, you may need to increase the sim spawn limit using MCCC.The mannequins start off 'naked' for realism, but when removing items in cas, they'll revert to default underwear like regular sims.
You can find the objects in build/buy by searching 'mannequin'.
I'll probably make a male version eventually.

i know you said you updated the mod to fix the problem, but i don't have werewolves either and unfortunately its still turning my live sims into mannequins.
hi! i unfortunately lost the option to edit my mannequins outfits, i only have the option to pose them. i've dressed them in cas before but can no longer find the option to :( anything i can do to fix this?
Hi, i think this mod is causing infants to age up to toddlers as mannequins? i have random townie toddlers who look like mannequins. Initially i thought it was fashion authority by lot51 but they said their issue was fixed a while ago, which leads me to now think it could be this mod?
this mod is so tea, but how do i change their pose to the sitting one?
I'm not sure how to dress the mannequin. I can't click on them. They only highlight.
i know this is a dumb question but im new to this, how do i see the mode in the game? i cant see it under builders mode
mods wont show in game if you dont move your downloads into your mods folder
will you do a male version of this mod?
when you say they share outfits, what does that mean? as in if i download the get to work one, if i have three mannequins, they won't be able to have individual outfts on each??
The get to work version works like the official get to work mannequin. Every female mannequin on the lot will have the same outfits to choose from.
So, are the mannequins you made no sims? I just wished there was a mod that removes the Sims from the mannequins and makes mannequins real objects. Thanks in advance.
If they were just objects, you could not change the outfits.
