Tangtang Mega Menu Mod!
Soupsoup is here! Now that all the mods are fixed for 1.1, I'm back on track to making mods again and the first is our cute cat!
She was actually much, much harder to mod than I expected her to be given how simple her outfit seems at first glance - the devs split up her materials into 7 different parts which constantly swap back and forth with different shading and weights x_x.
I managed to get it all functional in the end though, and this mod also has a bunch of other improvements such as working rain effects - I'm quite proud of the final results.

IMPORTANT: This mod requires RabbitFX (https://gamebanana.com/mods/651557) for textures and glow to show up properly. This mod was designed for the EFMI mod loader
Update3.1 (May 22, 2026): Fixed glitch that was causing Tangtang's skin to turn black under certain circumstances
Update3 (May 20, 2026): Fixed skin tone issue, separated skin and clothing materials, added additional tattoo options, improved stocking and glove textures, fixed ears/tails not toggling

Update1 (March 19, 2026): Fixed a performance issue on AMD gpus
This is a menu mod - you can open the menu by pressing / while the character is on field in order to toggle all the parts. Left click cycles through options, right click disables a part - it is also possible to control the menu using the keyboard, see the README in the mod folder for more details.
Known Issues
No animations on eye underneath eyepatch (not fixable, that eye just doesn't have animations like blinking/moving since it isn't normally visible)
Missing eye/hair texture options
No scaling yet (still researching)

I hope you release a fix for all the mods, because they have a memory error and fill up the VRAM until the game crashes.
Yes, I am aware of the issue. I don't have a good solution yet to fix it, looking into alternative methods of doing material transfers
Someone really needs to take a look at all the mods; ever since the last update, they’ve been pushing RAM usage to the limit.
Yes, the devs are aware of the issue. It's something that seems to affect all mods using custom material transfer, but has only been a half-day since the update so it's still being researched.

3.1I've discovered a problem: when players are near the Tangtang NPC on the world map, they either turn dark or their skin tone becomes misaligned.
I will look into this, though I'm not sure if this is fixable - the method I am using to make the skin tone work properly may fail if multiple Tangtang are on-screen (the tool can't distinguish between the NPC and the player char since they are both technically the same object, causing one of the two to break. Wuwa modding has the same issue)
Unfortunately, this version is broken and remains black in several places. If you use an external fix batch fixer, the menu becomes unusable. Please fix this; otherwise, one might as well just use v1.

In the open world, Tangtang's skin turns darker when the camera zooms out or when she is a teammate instead of being player-controlled.Could you please resolve this?

btw is it possible to change tangtang's accesories glow colour to white? pink might not be good on her though
Yes - right clicking on the color wheel and dragging will let you adjust glow color (or using keyboard control + backspace). For turning the glow black/white, you can right click the monochrome icon next to the color wheel (left click monochrome makes the primary color black/white, right click makes the secondary color black/white, and glow is usually on secondary)

Thank you!! I was prepping this one prior to the update since I wanted to get it out ASAP. I still had to pull an all nighter to finish it though, pretty tired rn XD
