More about the Upcoming Tier

So, I teased a little while ago about an upcoming $5 a month tier which will include a story being cowritten by myself and Mrs. NaughtyPaladin. We almost have enough written that I think we'll be able to post it soon.

Now, this story is going to be a bit different in format that my other stories. I say that because the chapters are a lot shorter, and are alternating between being written by Mrs. Naughty Paladin and me. So we currently have 5 chapters written, and that is 59 pages. Admittedly, I am using Times New Roman, Size 14 font, so I'm sure there's some schoolteacher saying "That's not 59 pages! Plus you put a page break at the end of each chapter! So that's like five less pages to start with!" But Size 14 is comfortable for me to read, so it's what I'm using.

Now, looking at frequency for updates... We've been a bit slow on these current chapters because we've had a lot of world building to do and discuss, but we're looking at weekly, or at worst bi-weekly, updates. There may be times, like the holidays, were it takes longer for us to post, but it seems like when we don't have to stop to build out the nobility of on of our societies or something, we write about one of these chapters apiece per week, so each week or two I'd post a chapter I wrote, and one she wrote.

We'll be writing in a separate document, and update a single Google Doc regularly with the new content. I'll let you know each time I upload more, and put up a new PDF with the latest chapters.

As for subject matter, this is a pretty High Fantasy romance story. Mrs. NaughtyPaladin will be writing the chapters from the POV of Princess Estelle of Esparia, and I will be writing the chapters with the POV of Elken, Crown Prince of Gladar, as they navigate an arranged marriage to seal a treaty between their two nations, the feelings they begin to develop for each other, the interference from those who don't want to see their relationship succeed, and perhaps things even more sinister. We hope you'll enjoy it, and that you'll enjoy Mrs. NaughtyPaladin's writing as much as you do mine. I've loved what she's written so far and I think you will too.

And just to clarify again, this is not taking away from the time I have spent and will continue to spend writing A Hero's Rebirth, Too Good To Be True, and my other main stories. I have always written little back and forth role play stories with our characters from various games, and yes they were filled with smut, but those were written with the intent of being for our eyes only, and given they are straight up fanfictions for our characters from games (mostly Final Fantasy 14) we would mostly be rehashing that storyline while our characters have steamy sex if we were to share those. But this story was one my wife wanted to write where we built the whole thing from scratch and wrote it together. She's never posted much of her writing before (I think she has a couple of stories she wrote like 10 years ago on Wattpad), but she's being brave and letting me post this. So be gentle and kind with her if you want more. :)

I am looking for feedback on one thing: Editing. We are both reading these chapters and using spellchecker, but I know that spellchecker is about as effective as using a chain link fence to keep mosquitos out. Should we try and get the editors who work on my other stories to keep this edited, or just post it and fix mistakes as you point them out to us?

I hope you guys are excited about this, and I hope that getting more regular (weekly or biweekly) is exciting to you guys as well. We're still figuring out exactly how this is going to go, but we are excited and enjoying getting our base level content for this tier prepared. Mrs. NaughtyPaladin is excited enough, she's started designing some of the dresses and such that she thinks Estelle has been wearing in our story. (Mrs. NaughtyPaladin went to school for fashion design.)
