Heartbeat check

It has come to my attention that I haven't updated you guys in a while. I generally try to avoid "spam" and posting for every writing day, page written and off day I have, but... this has been a bit much. So, I thought I'd give an update after one of you reached out.

I *AM* alive and doing fine. Just been a touch busy. Had camp-outs/reunions with both my family and Mrs. NaughtyPaladin's families, and have been dealing with Tiny NaughtyPaladin and getting him diagnosed with autism... Given autism has been proven (as far as I'm aware) to be generic, that's been fun for Mrs. NaughtyPaladin and I to examine ourselves.

Also, work has been busy which has been unfortunate. When I have free cycles at work I am able to write while waiting for my next cycle, so that's taken away some bonus writing time.

In addition, as I've stated, my writing is split between writing on my laptop and on my phone. Well, I was able to get a new phone through work... and for the love of God, why does Google Docs on my new S24+ feel the need to capitalize the first letter of every 2nd to 6th word randomly? Like I can be just typing out a normal sentence and look back and boom, in a ten word sentence I have 3-4 extra capitalized words. Annoying. And in order to get it to not do that I have to turn of capitalization completely, is dumb.

BUT! IT IS NOT ALL GLOOM AND DOOM!

I *HAVE* been writing and chapter 8 of A Hero's Rebirth is coming along nicely. I am 114 pages into the chapters and I think I'm moving along nicely. There have been a few patches that were difficult to write and slowed me down, but persistence has gotten me through them and I BELIEVE I should have a smooth path to where this chapter needs to go. It still had a ways to go, but it should go smoother sailing from here on out. I think.
