Hi Everyone! It's Danitysimmer aka Tee and I'm back with a new Career Mod. It's the Women National Basketball Association Mod or as I like to call it, the WSBA Mod. This Mod adds some gameplay to the Basketball object that comes with City Living!
This Mod consists of the following;
Rabbithole WSBA Career
Basketball Charity Event
WSBA Legend Milestone
Major Brand Deals and more.
Pack Required;
- City Living
WSBA Career
The Career is 6 levels deep and you start as a nobody but as you make your way through the career, you will gain Fame and LOOOTS of Money until you become a WSBA Legend.
Levels
Rookie Prospect
Drafted Player
Rising Star
All-Star Athlete
Team Captain
WSBA Legend
The Career WON'T show on the Career UI until your Sim has been drafted! To be drafted, your Sim NEEDS Fitness Level 1. Once they are Level 1 Fitness Skill, you can draft by going to COMPUTER - HOUSEHOLD - JOIN WNBA DRAFT
Your Sim will now be eligible to join the WNBA Draft. On the PHONE - TRAVEL from 10am everyday, your Sim will be able to go to the WNBA Draft. The Draft lasts 12 hours!
If your Sim gets rejected, they would need to do everything all over again so make sure you have a good Fitness Skill!
Once you get Drafted, you will get a call from your Coach and this unlocks a new Relationship Bit as well as Interactions with your Coach
SPONSORSHIPS;
As a Rookie Prospect and a Drafted Player, you can Apply for a Sponsorship for your Team and the Sponsorship ranges from §2000 to §15000. You can only apply ONCE.
Sponsorships are only available on the WEEKDAYS!!
WNBA Phone Interactions;
When you get to the Rising Star level, you will be eligible to get Brand Deals. There isn't a limit to how many times you do this so enjoy the money lol. Also the Higher your Career Level, the more Brand Deals you will unlock meaning more money, also the money given to you at each Deal varies so you won't get the same amount each time!
Watch Basketball Match - Under Travel, Sims can now go watch Basketball matches. It will be available on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 12PM. Your Sims will be gone for 2 hours.
Team Practices - Those in Career can attend Team Practices. It might go well, your Sim might come back Injured or Sad. It's different each time. ( Only available on Weekdays!!!!)
Fly Out - This allow you to take a Vacation with 1-2 other Sims. You need to have some Romance Bar with the Sim for them to show up!
Basketball Charity Event;
One of your Career goals is to host a Basketball Charity Event where you raise money for Charity. This Event isn't tied to the Career so you can still use it even if you quit the Career.
This is a Social based event so there will be lots of talking and basically begging for money but as it's called a Basketball Charity Event, there will also be Basketball interactions. Unlike the Sponsorship and Brand Deals, you do NOT keep this money lol, its for Charity guys!
However if the event is either Silver or Gold, your Sim gets money from the range of §200-§1000 plus Buffs and Fame Perks.
Interactions
COMPUTER Interactions
- Secure Sponsorship; As Previously mentioned
- Breakdown Plays, Study Plays, Analyze Opponents - Those in various Career Levels will have specific interactions as Promotional Tasks. They can be found under CAREER - WSBA
WSBA Legend Milestone
When you get to Career Level 6, you will get the WSBA Legend Milestone with a custom Buff.
Buffs!
I honestly love creating Buffs so you will get quite a few with this Mod. Here are some;

Lot51 core hasn’t been deleted
Is this mod still working?
I literally removed all of the mods from my game except the ones necessary for this mod and it still doesn’t work lol I don’t know
Its not going to show under careers. This is explained in the post and the mod video
Hi! So I completed the steps to apply for NBA draft from computer, but after the action is completed, my sims resets/glitch and nothing additional happens. Is there something Im doing wrong?
I had this issue and used a non cc computer and it worked, thought I would put this here jsut in case it helps someone else.
Im having options choosing a certain sims as the coach. I keep trying to assign a sim I created as the NBA coach. It is not working. I cant find that sim anywhere
I have read the entire post, watched the install video, read every comment and still can't get the mod to work. I have tried with lot51 and xml injector. I have tried with both and separate. When I click computer > household nothing about the draft comes up. I have spent a lot of time trouble shooting please help! I love the w!
heyy I'm having the same issue :/ did you find how to make it work?
whats up, im having a small issue. im trying to get my sim complete a promotion task but every time they complete a team practice it doesnt show up as them completing it. how can i fix that?
Hiii, every time I save my game, exit the game, and then load back in my household my sim no longer is in the career and I have to do the draft all over again, I'm not sure what to do pls help!!
Hi, once I click 'Apply for NBA,' all I get is that drafting opens from 10am to 4 pm on Friday to Sunday. It is currently Friday in my game, and it's 11 am, but nothing happens after that. Am I doing something wrong?
Did you travel to the location under phone - travel?
Hi, loving this mod so far! It's a great addition to the careers. I don't understand the "Only Available on Weekdays." It's 9:54 on a Friday and I'm still getting that message. Also, I had the sports assistance apply for a sponsorship but what do I do after that to check it off the promotion tasks?
How does one do the 360 Monster Jam?
Hiii my sims graduated high school early and I was wondering if there is a way to access the career as a teen ?
hi, i am having issues with this mod. i have read the post in its entirety and have everything installed and the career itself is not popping up at all. i was wondering if i missed a step or something
The career wont pop up. Your sim needs to be drafted, its explained how in the post
Ive been drafted, i got everything down except for how to get to practice. Cant find that particular menu. I've always had to cheat it. Please help.
im having this issue too
I read the post last night I found the research NFL but I'm not seeing respect NBA
I have everything but when I open the phone menu to look for a job I don't see none of your sports careers

Hello, my french translation for the general Pie sport menue : https://www.patreon.com/posts/trad-fr-general-112172902 and for WNBA (I love this career, congratulation !) : https://www.patreon.com/posts/trad-fr-wnba-112171445
Hi do I need to get the wsba in order for the sba to work ?? I don’t see where I can’t find the sba under the household my sims has level 3 fitness
Do you have lot51 core downloaded?
I cant go to team practice idk what to do i also dont get the coach interactions
So I definitely cannot figure out why my sim cannot join the nba or nfl 😟
Have you drafted your sim?
Hi i would like to know how can i join the dunk competition because i’m trying to get the promotion but im stuck thank you for your answer
Click on the basketball court object and join dunk competition will show
does xml even work it hasnt been updated since 2022??
Yes
These careers are not showing up in household but I do have the options to do basketball charity events and my sims have level 8 fitness... is there something else that needs to be done other than downloading and adding to my mods folder?
Please make sure you have xml injector installed. Also make sure your sim isnt a Teen.
Hiya, for some reason the option to join the career in career menu is not showing itself. I'm a little confused. Thank you x
Please read the post as to how to join the career
Hello, I am having trouble with the part where you have to mentor a sim in basketball. I can’t seem to figure it out.
You need to have fitness level 10, click on a sim thats playing with the basketball and select ‘Coach’
Hi, I seem to be having a problem with being promoted. So my sim has been a drafted player and she just doesn't get promoted, she did all the promotion tasks and her performance is excellent, I really don't know what to do.
Hey Girl, I really don't know amymore, it's been so long
Hello I am trying to download but I am seeing a message saying the attachment can not be found.
Can you refresh your page and try again?
Hello, love this mod! Quick question, is the “volunteer event” only on weekdays? It’s the Rising Star promotion check!
Volunteering is part of the game, I believe its under Travel on the Phone
My bad. It's on both of the files. It's the SBA and WNBA. Didn't even know you respond for real. lol appreciate that
the wnba and nba mods are packages, not zipped file. You should just be able to download them and place them in your sims 4 mod folder. If its coming up as documents, this website can help you; https://techcult.com/how-to-remove-file-type-associations-in-windows-10/
I have the two files that supposed to be downloaded, it still isn't letting me download with a zip file it's showing document for this
You’ve commented in 3 separate places. I do not know what exactly it is you’re trying to download. Please can you keep the comment on the post you need help on.
Hey , love this mod I just had a quick question. How do i mentor a sim in basketball ?
Hi! So you needed to be in the athlete career to mentor but I've removed that restriction so please redownload the mod and you can mentor, also you would need your fitness level to be 10 to see the option
Can you get famous through this mod? like can i become a famous basketballplayer the same way u can become a famous actor?
Yes. As you advance in your career and do some brand deals, you will gain fame.
Hi, thanks so much for making this mod. I only played the NBA\SBA so far. Quick question can my Sim still get promoted to the next level if the daily task is glitched? Usually you can right click it to cheat it but that doesn't work...
The version I have now shouldn’t have the daily tasks anymore. It should be called WFH assignments now
I can’t find most of the computer interactions and the phone ones too
I don’t receive the options to watch bball match, interview athletes, or attend practice.
Please make sure you have all the required files and also some interactions only show on certain days & times.
Hi, do your mod have a french translation ? Or another one ?(my mother language is french but I ask for other people too)
If you don't have, I'm fine with it I understand english it's just that I prefer to have everything in my game in french
im trying to have my sim dribble and they do, but once its done the box never gets checked off
You have to make sure the animation for dribbling plays all the way through. Unfortunately, it's quite a long animation
Hi, I can't figure out how to join a dunk competition, how do i do this?
You would need to have a certain level fitness skill, click on the basketball net and the option to do a dunk competition should come up
Do I just move the file to the mods folder. I hope it works. The other package didn't work.
Just drop it in the Mods folder. Please make sure you have the other required mods listed in the description above
Can you please do a NFL career like this one?!
I know absolutely nothing about the NFL but I can try.
wow this is absolutely awesome! would you consider making the men's version of this career in the future? :)
I can definitely do that if its wanted.
hi i love this mod!! but i am unable to find the option to apply for sponsorships
You would need to be in the Career and also be in Level 1 or 2 of the Career. Click on the computer, Career - WNBA and it should be there.
hi, great mod but what should i do if the career won’t show up in job options for one of my sims?
It wont show for Teens& Elders and Male Sims
so freaking cool!
cool
yaaaaaaay!! i've been aching for an actual basketball career.
