Hey guys! Welcome to the first part of the NBA/WNBA update and this brings a career expansion with custom teams, new interactive gameplay and some press conference gameplay.

NOTE: The next update will not be released together as all NBA/WNBA updates have been so far. With how much more complex the mods are getting, its taking a lot more time so the next update will be the NBA first then a week later will be the WNBA.

Teams

When your sim joins the career, they can now join some new teams. I've added 8 new teams to the career and you can choose your sim's team in the NBA/WNBA Cheats menu.

If you don't know which team to assign your sim, there is a 'random' option where it will allocate your sim to a team randomly but where your sim resides will have a bigger advantage.

Custom Teams

Thanks to a suggestion by Dolores, you can now create your own team. With up to 24 characters, you can give your team a custom name then select a logo for your team. Each save can have up to 6 custom teams.

This means in total, you can have up to 14 NBA/WNBA teams in your game.

More gameplay regarding teams will come in the League Table/Match Simulation Update.

Trading Gameplay

Work Performance now matters, not just with performance but also with whether your sim will get auto traded to another team because of poor performance or moved to another team due to good performance.

There are two ways for the trade gameplay to work;

Coach Gameplay

With your coach, you can request a trade and based on your sim's performance, your coach can either tell you it ain't happening or they'll contact someone to get the trade moving. The gameplay is available from Career Level 3-5

Please note; If a team calls you and you decline, please don't worry. Other teams will call you! You do not need to say yes to the first team!

If you accept the trade, your Sim will automatically be moved to the new team and the calls will stop until you request again from your coach.

Auto Trade Gameplay

If your sim has poor work performance, there is a chance your sim can be moved unto a new team without any say from them. The gameplay is available from Career Level 1-4

The call will come from your assistant (so make sure you have hired an assistant!!).

If your sim gets auto-traded, it unlocks the Press Conference gameplay where Journalists will grill you with questions, and how your sim handles it shapes the overall outcome.

New Milestone & Computer Interaction

Every time your sims gets traded, they will get a new milestone. Also if you want to check if your sim will get traded through requests, there is a new computer interaction called ' Check Trade Rumours' under Career - NBA/WNBA.
