Hey everyone! 👋
This has been one of the biggest updates to the Social Media Addon since it launched and I am so excited to finally share it with you. A lot of what you've been asking for is in this one. More control, more social features and a whole new way to experience your Sims' online lives. Let's get into it.
What's included in this update?
The video above explains it a lot more but these are the new things added to the update
In-game Settings
Custom Usernames
Group Chats
Pixelgram
As mentioned in the video, you can find the hashtags that can be used with the Pixelgram here;
As mentioned in the video above; photos will display correctly when the Sim is on the same lot as your active Sim. When viewing from a different household their profile will show their portrait instead. This is a current game limitation and something I'm working on improving in a future update.
The mod now stores your data in Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/saves/DanitysimmerData/SMA/. This keeps everything organised in one place and your data persists even if you reinstall the mod.

hii i love this mod but im having issues with my sims pixelgram feed constantly resetting? i thought it was related to my sim moving out and into a new household, but ive noticed that SOMETIMES when i reload my game, the pixelgram posts will reset. is there a reason why?
If you delete the pictures in the inventory, the pictures will disappear. If you delete the cfg in your saves folder, the pictures will disappear. You must also make sure you are saving your game when you use pixelgram
I have the social media addon interactions on the computer but the app never prompt for my sims phone I even tried different household same thing it works on the computer but not the app I tried troubleshooting deleted the mod as well lot 51 / framework but it’s the same thing I tried asking in discord but it says help center is closed and I search the chat can’t find nobody with the same question

Hi! It wasn’t showing on mine, so I tried creating a social media account on the computer first, and then the add on appeared. Hope it helps!

this mod is soo good! I've been wanting one like this since forever. i've been using it for like a week and i have question. is there a cutoff time for the comments or a way we can turn comments on posts off? sometimes i like when its like 2 or 3 but then it gets flooded with them especially old posts.
There’s no cut off but you can decrease the frequency in the settings
