Have you ever wished your Sims could actually communicate what they want to eat? Now they can.

Served with Love adds two new interactions that bring a whole new layer of intention and emotion to cooking and dining. Ask your Sim what they're craving, cook it for them, and see how they react.

How it works;

Ask What They Want to Eat & Drink; Click on any Sim and under Friendly -> Small Talk, to ask what they'd like to eat or drink. Their response depends on your relationship, their dietary restrictions, and if you have Flavored Memories installed, how they feel about your cooking.

• Close friends suggest fancier meals. Acquaintances give you the full pool. Unfriendly Sims? Good luck getting a straight answer.

• Vegetarian, Lactose Intolerant, and Child of the Ocean traits are fully respected, your Sims will never ask for food that conflicts with their dietary restrictions.

• Mod food recipes are weighted higher so your installed food mods get the spotlight they deserve.

• The creator's name appears in the notification so you always know where to find the dish (e.g. Bakewell Tart (Littlbowbub)). If there isn't a creator's name, its an EA meal

Serve the Meal; After cooking, click any food or drink object to serve it to one or multiple Sims at once. Selected Sims will automatically go to grab their serving.

• Correct food served → happy buff

• Wrong food served → mild disappointment buff

• Sims without a pending request still grab and eat normally, no buff is given to them

• Friendship changes between the cook and the served Sim based on the outcome

Flavored Memories Crossover (Optional, mod not required) If Flavored Memories is installed, a Sim's appreciation level influences what they ask for. High appreciation narrows suggestions to gourmet meals. Traumatized Sims refuse to engage entirely, with their own unique responses.

Social Media Addon Crossover (Optional, mod not required) If you have my Social Media Addon installed and your Sim has an active account, they'll post about their meal experience on their timeline. Correct food gets an enthusiastic post. Wrong food gets something a little more passive aggressive.

I've worked really hard to make sure the mod picks up as many food mods as possible and for the most part, if a food mod follows standard Sims 4 recipe codes, it should work without any issues.

The meal names you see in the notifications come directly from however the food modder named their recipe and how the meals are categorised. Where something is showing as gourmet, dairy-free etc is based entirely on the tags they gave their food. The mod is just reading whats there

So if you find a Lactose Intolerant Sim getting suggested a cheesy pasta, it's not something I can fix on my end, it just means that particular recipe hasn't been tagged with the relevant dietary category by the mod creator. The best thing to do in that case is drop the food modder a note so they can update their tags in a future release.

You're not limited to just one Sim at a time, you can ask as many Sims as you like what they want to eat, keep track of everyone's requests, and cook and serve each meal individually. Perfect for households, dinner parties, or just showing your whole friend group some love through food. Each Sim gets their own request, their own serve, and their own reaction so no two meals have to be the same!

Things to be aware of;

• The Serve to... interaction only appears on food and drink objects when a Sim has an active pending request

• The first few times the interaction is used, the response will be SLOW because it needs to consider everything listed above!

• 'What Do You Want To Eat' & 'What Do You Want To Drink' Interactions are only available for Teens - Elders as Child Sims can't cook most of the meals

• 'Serve To...' Interaction is available from Child - Elders

• Requests expire after 2 sim hours. If you take too long to cook, the request quietly clears and you'll need to re-ask.

• Sims can’t select themselves in the serve picker to grab food
