I'm SO excited to finally share a huge new update to the Fashion Designer Mod.
This update will be bringing even more depth, storytelling, and gameplay to your Sims' fashion journeys. Here’s what’s new or has been updated;
New International Inspiration Trips
Your Sims can now travel to two brand new cities for fresh creative inspiration! Think new vibes, new experiences, and new adventure moments to spark their next collection.
Fashion Portfolio
Your Sims can now take pictures for their own Fashion Portfolio. Once done, you can send your portfolio to clients (2 pictures required) and other interactions.
This interaction shows on the Tripod (Sims 4 Moschino stuff pack required)
Once the pictures have been taken, simply click on them and 'Upload to Portfolio'
Fashion Designer Skill Level 2+ required!!
Apply for Fashion Grants
Sims can earn some extra money by applying for Fashion Grants. This can help them fund their fashion dreams!
Grants can be applied for on the computer however your Sim will need;
Fashion Designer Skill Level 3+
5 Pictures in their Fashion Portfolio
Each grant has different requirements so you might get accepted or declined! Some of the requirements are;

Relevant Careers
Reputation & Fame
Create Fashion Collections
Introducing the Create a Collection feature! Build themed lines, add designs, promote them, and even sell them after your runway shows.
To get started, go on the Computer - Fashion Designer and 'Start a Collection Line'.
For this to be activated, your Sim needs the following;
At least 2 Pictures in their Fashion Portfolio
Fashion Designer Level 4
PLEASE NOTE; You can currently only create one Collection at a time.
Creating a Collection Line unlocks some new interaction such as;
Sell the Collection (If you don't want the collection anymore, it can be sold. The amount it sells for depends on how many designs you have in your collection.)
Promote the Collection (Under Computer - Fashion Designer or/and Phone - Fashion Designer, you can promote your current line)
Discuss Collection ( Under Friendly - Small Talk, you can discuss the line with other Sims)
Pitch Collection to Clients (Under Friendly - Interests, you can pitch the line to Clients)
Add Design to Collection (Once you have created a Design on a Mannequin, you can Add it to your Collection)
Phone calls from Clients requesting work from your Collection
This is a MAJOR new gameplay addition and opens so many storytelling possibilities!
New TV Channel: Fashion Week
Included as an Add-on is a new Channel on your Sim's TVs. You can now watch the latest episode of Fashion Police in the comfort of your house!
Alongside the new channel is the return of the Tartosa Fashion Week Holiday Tradition which can be used for those with some Fashion Week gameplay!
Please Note; This isn't an override so it does NOT conflict with any TV Override mods. Both can be used at the same time!
New Social Bunny Posts
Fresh Social Bunny content for your Sims to share about their Portfolio and Collection Line!
New Model Animations
Added a grand total of 8 new Model Animations on top of the current 4 and it is organised by Gender. Now your Sims can correctly strut, pose, and serve face with these new animations
Minor Additions & Changes
Under the Phone Fashion Designer Menu, your Sim can scroll on FashionTok
Fashion Show Event will now only be available to Sims who have Fashion Designer Skill level 3+ and has started a Collection Line
Removed some Active Career Objectives and added new ones to correlate with the new Interactions.
Removed the Fashion Designer Computer Menu from Career and Reorganised the interactions into newer pie menus
Added new Computer Interactions for the Active Career

Hiii--Would it be possible to be able to pick who works at Luxe Legacy in a future update? I keep trying to makeover / replace the people that work there but it doesn't fully work, and I don't want to lose functionality by switching to a custom venue😭
hii i was just wondering what i should do if im unable to do the task for the workday. for example im unable to call suppliers or order fabrics. its probably something im doing wrong lol. also appreciate the hard work you put in this!
hi, the inspirational trips, my sim is a part-time fashion designer and as part of their tasks they are being asked to take inspirational trip, but the option is never there on my phone
Hey , I’ve redownloaded this more than a few times within the passed few days , i made sure to only download the files i needed and for some reason the app for the designer mod will not show up on the phone . I know you get frustrated with the question lol but I’ve tried everything before coming to ask i promise 🙏🏾
Please make sure you have the framework installed as well. Its a requirement

Hi! This mod, as of 08/19/26, doesn't allow sims to plan (social) events from the sims phone or calendars. I removed the mod and my sim was then able to plan an event. Just wanted to make you aware. Thank you :)
This has been tested and events were working on phone and calendars. Please make sure you have everything the mod requires including required packs

Hi, I'm reporting this terrible bug here because I can't access 'support' on your Discord. The Luxe Legacy isn't working for me. I have all the required mods, I checked if I have a Luxe Legacy lot in my world, everything seems fine, but for some reason, it doesn't work. I can't get my Sim to go to work, and there aren't even any notifications alerting me if she's running late; it's like she doesn't even have a job, the active career isn't working. I've checked everything, and everything seems to be in order. The electives also didn't appear for me; only one appeared in the first semester of college. I think apart from that, the rest of the mod is working normally. I'm not sure about the electives; I'm still afraid I might have missed them, but I checked the other semesters and I have the impression they didn't appear. Anyway, I thought it best to tell you about this. (Forgive me if I have a grammar error or if I seemed rude at any point; English is not my first language.)
i have same experienced, is it because my sims doesnt have modelling trait? or because i dont have the frameworks and lot51 channel injector installed?
Hi! Love this mod but I am unable to style clients. I've tried everything including deleting and redownloading everything. It's not giving me the pie menu under friendly>interests for me to ask to style the clients. It's really frustrating me and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Please help!

If you click on a mannequin you can say create a look it will take you to CAS, Then create multiple looks and then when you come back out of CAS, you can dress each mannequin and it will check each one off in the task. At least that's what worked for me lol :)

i cant get the luxe lots to appear and I have lot and the other thing required. It just doesnt populate in the gallery... can anyone assist?
The lot type appears where all other lot types appear. Nothing might populate in the gallery if no one has built a lot for it
Hey Danitysimmer, My problem is that I'm already at level 5 in this career and I can't become a boss. How can I become one? I only get raises instead of promotions to boss.
I’m not sure I know what you mean. Raises and Promotions are the same thing and the final level is the Boss level

Hey Danitysimmer, how can I study fashion design? When I enrolled at university, I chose art history and fine arts, but there are no additional classes related to that topic. My Sim also has the Aspiration "Fashion Student Knowledge". I got the Patreon Exclusive Version. I only need this as the main mod, right? Or do I need to download something else? Thank you for your help ♥♥♥
The elective shows at random based on the game unfortunately however if you have some fashion designer skills, there’s a higher chance.
hii, love this mod btw! unfortunately when i try to do anything with the app its telling me I need to be connected to simzlink. Which is weird since every part of my sims house has a router. Is this something you can help with?
Does it only happen with phone interactions? Are computer interactions working with simzlink?
This mod is AMAZING, it's perfect for the aspiring fashion designer I have in my save! I have a question about the premade sims.. for some reason, some of them are showing up as mannequins. Is there something I need to do on my end to fix this issue?
They aren’t meant to be. Check to see if you have any mannequins related mod in your folder
Hi danity, when I click on the camera I don’t have the option to take pictures for the fashion portfolio. I’m using the camera from moschino pack and my sim is level 10 on the designer skill.
You click on the Tripod for the option, not the camera itself
I love this mod; I been playing from very first release. But why I can't never go on any trips. I don't cheat because it's so wonderful to play. It never gives me the opportunity to. I want to gooooo! lol
The trips are opened at certain times and days. Its not always available
