Gm just loves making 1st and 2nd ungodly short and then 3 ungodly tall. I gotta a little buick verano grandma car lookin thing and it's peppy until 3rd cause it just doesn't have the torque to pull through it hard. Not that I'm expecting high performance but 1st gear is literally useless and 2nd and 3rd are wag too far apart and I can't imagine that's good for fuel economy either.
