i mean you couldve gotten into the mid 9s or high 8s if you didnt treat the coyote like a hot rod. 2019 is the second year of the gen 3 coyote and the gen 3 can handle 850hp bench mark limit on a stock bottom and top end. tune for 750hp to be safe. all you had to do was a hellion sleeper turbo kit and supporting mods like aftermarket fuel pump and injectors. you could throw on a sticky proxes r888 or i think a nitto nt555 g2 would hold up around 750hp. throw on traction bars if it needed it. i know you sold the truck but this knowledge is useful if you ever have coyote again.

A drag pack would get you an 11 easy. I’m pretty sure you have traction bars on the truck if I remember correctly, but you’ll definitely need them with a sticky tire, these trucks wheel hop horrendously. You’ll need a tune even if the front tires are the same height as the rear since it judges the shifts off of speed as well as rpm. Try to get a taller tire to keep from shifting into 7th gear because that’s what breaks those 10R80s. I had a ‘19 5.0 I would do hot-laps at the drag strip like NASCAR lol. On a drag radial I ran 18psi

I will 100% say you will be fine on the oil pump gears. The rpm isn’t what kills them it’s bouncing the limiter like on a 2 step or something. And I’d say the 10r will be just fine with as much power as the truck makes. I and several of my friends have been a couple years on 10r’s and 700+. One has made 900 wheel since 2019 and is still going strong
