Multiple important announcements!
Hello! Hope everyone is doing fine and dandy as the year rapidly comes to a close! It's been an up and down year for me personally, and continuing the trend I've come to give some up and down news!
The down news, CJ (long time art guy) has had a catastrophic computer failure this last week. Which means a current pause on all project progress, and an unfortunate need for either a repair job or full PC replacement.
To help fund the efforts, CJ will be doing a game themed weight gain art drive, featuring the girls from Apostles and Project Atlas!
WG Drive Setup:
Two public polls will be set up, one for Apostles and one for Project Atlas. The gold place winners with the most votes from their respective categories will be the stars of the crossover drive!
If donations reach $600 in total, then the second place silver medal most popular will be added in, now for four total characters as part of the drive!
And if beyond expectations $900 is reached, the bronze third place winners will be added in and 6 total characters will be getting artwork, gaining for the drive!
(Every $1 is 1 pound added for each member of the group! And thank you to Dedan who helped us set up the Ko Fi and gave us that massive starting donation!)
For patreon members, please only donate if you truly have money to spare. You all are the best, and your continual support for Project Atlas, even in the off-season months, has been tremendously helpful and meaningful to CJ and I already, and we don't want to try to squeeze you for every cent you have!
Since CJ needs a PC in order to draw, the poll and donations will be open for the next 2 weeks. Starting in November the pics will be coming out of the girls gaining some serious pounds across several images until they reach the grand total weight with the final pic done before the end of 2026.
Regardless of donating or not, everyone can vote for their favorite character in the polls! Where are the polls you may ask? Well that leads to the other piece of news!
This news HOPEFULLY is seen as an Up, but CJ and I have made a discord server dedicated to our games, with a multitude of channels for general talk, lore theories, fanart, and polls! (The first of which will be for the drive)
Making a discord for our games has been asked for before, and I think it's time to finally pull the trigger on it.
I admit, I was hesitant! For one, tech hurts my lil brain and it was hard! Thank you (Erikwulf for helping set it up).
But the second main reason is that I'm very attached to Weight Gaming as the main forum for all Apostles/Atlas chat, and I'd hate to feel like its being abandoned or the community is stretched apart too many different places.
But...for various reasons I don’t wish to be immodest about, I think it’s time to have a dedicated space for this community and a discord for it seem like a great step forward!
So with that long winded explanation, CJ and I have started our own discord server focused on our work. We aren't swearing off our other current places on contact, and will continue to post here just as actively as always, but will keep the discord as just as active of a community hub, so there's no worry of going dark.
So please join if you'd like! But if you don't, so long as we stay up at weight gaming you won't miss out on anything major!
Anywho, think that's everything! Remember the polls are on the discord, and are open even if you don't wish to donate!
