Excited to see what's in store whenever you are ready to get back into this! also, I have a question about the format of the game, if you can answer it. The "other" sidequests for the MCs, are they supposed to be alternate routes for the characters, or are they extra stuff that happen along with the sidequests we currently have? Cause I have heard of "corruption quest" vs "romance quest" in the forums and I wonder what that will entail.
Good questions! So Amber, BB, and Dawn will each have two character questlines each. And for the moment players will be able to play all of them, if they so choose. However, near the midpoint of the game, you will be forced to commit to one questline or the other. Dawn, for example, her two questlines are with Romanov or “The Red Eye Gang” (who will become known in an upcoming update) At the midpoint in the game, Dawn will need to choose if she wants to continue with the gang or with the Romanov’s, dedicating herself to the arc. Whichever arc you dedicate to, will have changes to the characters appearance, and their attitude in some matters!
So, any updates?
Just finished update 0.12 on my other game, Apostles! Cleaning up some final things there and then it will be back on to Atlas work. We’ll aim for a healthy quickness for dev time, as we’ll be working on one character side quest at a time. There will be one for Amber, Dawn, 99, and BB. Then we will make the first main story dungeon, to conclude the update cycle.
