Release - Monster City v0.14.0
Hey everyone!
I've been working day and night for the past month, and I'm finally happy to release the biggest update I've ever made.
This update contains more content than any previous release, and I'm genuinely proud of how it turned out.
That said, I also want to be transparent with all of you.
Unfortunately, the game hasn't been performing as well as I'd hoped. Because of that, the next update will most likely be the final one. The main story will be completed as planned, so you won't be left with an unfinished ending. However, a lot of the side content, extra events, and ideas I wanted to explore may have to be cut.
If you've been enjoying Monster City and would like to see this project—and possibly its future—continue, I'd really appreciate your support. Subscribing on Patreon or leaving a positive review on Steam genuinely makes a huge difference.
I had originally planned to tease Monster College 2 during Monster City's finale, but whether that project becomes a reality will ultimately depend on how this game performs.

This has been a true passion project for me, and I've experimented with so many new ideas while making it. I really hope you'll stick with me until the end and enjoy the game's climax and finale, because I've poured absolutely everything I had into these last chapters.
I honestly believe the scenes and artwork included in this update—and the next one—are the best I've ever created. I hope you'll feel the same.
One final note: this update contains a scene that deals with some heavy themes. There will be a content warning beforehand, as well as an option to skip the more sensitive parts if you prefer.

The truth is, I played with the two pirates and they are really good. The only thing that discourages me is that they are in English and I speak Spanish; that's why I played pirates. But next month I'll buy the first one as support on Steam, but if it were in Spanish it would be awesome xD

Hey! Im writing this message because i didn't see any update in steam. I was worried of what happened and I saw this post. I didn't post as review of the game because I usually don't make any review on any game that I played, But I can say with confiance that the community who might not leave a review will still very much appreciate this story. I really think that the fact its might be ''less'' good for some people is the fact that it's in early acess, but I hope this will not stop you to continue the franchise and maybe ( im hoping) to see all the content you guys wanted to add in the beginning. Sorry for my potential bad english my first language is not english, but I wanted to show my support.

Monster city is my favourite one : I really like supernatural stuffs and mc is a vamp that's what I want .
I'm a new follower and honestly this is one of the best game I've ever played. I've played dozens of this type, but this one actually slaps. May I ask when is the android port gonna release. Personally for me It's relaxing to play while laying down the bed :)
Don't get me wrong, but you turned off a lot of people by making one of the main LIs (Onlyfance a model and gloryhole prostitute) around whom the plot revolves, which is not the best decision. But this is your vision, so good luck.
Hang in there M.E.! Monster City is definitely a fun and engaging story worth developing further. So many great characters. Hopefully the global economical slump which we're all dealing with improves for us all and folks realize the value of your hard work and a great story for some pleasant diversion. Keep up the great work!
A scene of the MC fucking Dragimora and Dermilla would be so hot. Even if just a ending. Maybe a punishment for how they treated him now that he has a dragon on his side? They simply can't risk having their lives ruined.

I know dev you have poured your everything in this project which all players can see your hardwork so please bring monster college 2 and inam very sure that everyone will get connected and once again' all ......
I feel more connected with tha monster college, that it's really hard for me to accept monster city. . .. although I played this game it is also really good, but no one can beat monster college peter 😭 ..................so please bring monster college 2

Just some feedback. I loved the original, but with this one I think we should stick with VN. Sandbox doesn't usually does as good... also less work for you. Also fewer characters but with more personality/better design?
The sandbox allowed me to expand the world and make the game/universe feel more alive. I prefer to enjoy games at a slower pace, immersing/losing myself in them. Once again, everyone can enjoy things differently. I guess most people just don't vibe the way I do. And the sandbox was optional. Still, thanks for the feedback and support ❤️
Hi! I absolutely loved Monster College 2, but I have to admit that when I started Monster City – a year ago, I think – I didn’t really connect with the characters and I wasn’t convinced by the map navigation. I told myself I’d give it another try later, and this seems like the right opportunity. I have to admit that the prospect of a Monster College 2 is also motivating me to give this latest Monster City version a try.
Thank you for giving it another try. It's ok not to vibe with the characters, everyone has their tastes. Personally, I enjoy them a lot more than the ones from the first game, since they are a lot more nuanced, diverse and characterized... but I guess most people don't vibe the same way I do. Anyway, the sandbox has never been a must, just an option. The map navigation has improved a lot, in the last few updates. I hope you'll feel less lost in it. Thank you again for the support.
This really bums me out. Hopefully the support will be there and this universe can continue. It's easily one of the coolest and most unique visual novels out there. So many of them are cookie cutter and generic. This one and Monster College were really a breath of fresh air.
While the game has underperformed, I hope that you fans will keep supporting the development of Monster City and the Monster College universe. While not perfect, I have a lot of fun working on it and I hope I can keep the saga going with a new chapter.
