Coming Soon

As I've mentioned in the past, my real-life job comes in waves of busy-ness--and it's been quite heavy these past couple of weeks. Thankfully, the winds are finally settling and calm waters are stretched out ahead... I'll finally be able to get back to The Eleventh Hour Society and Maid New: Housebroken now--and finish up my newest original short stories "Pro Bono" (releasing soon). In the meantime, how about some more short stories?

First up...

"Mind Over Mind" (Custom Story)
Special Agent Evelyn Emerson is good at her job of capturing the "mind-benders" of the world--because she herself is a mind-bender. An elusive fugitive, Luther Bonham, was spotted recently, quietly residing in a city apartment. It should be an easy job, one that she could take care of alone. However, Evelyn has never gone toe-to-toe with a mind-bender of Luther's power.

After that:

"Trash Town" (Custom Story)
Power couple, Cassandra and Tom, are headed back to their city life from a medical doctors convention and have to stop at a gas station in a tiny backwoods rural town. After a few rude comments are overheard by a local witch, Cassandra and Tom find that they're going through some changes and might fit "purrrty" nicely in this trash town.

And then:

"Merge" (Custom Story)
Rowan got a job that has an interesting requirement: all memories are left at work. To make matters worse for Rowan, he can't remember anything that he actually does while on the clock, leaving his afternoons a blurry dream. In the evenings, he struggles with thoughts and urges that seem to be intruding on his real life, all while he tries his hardest to figure out just what exactly it is that he's signed up for, and what fine print did he not read before signing his life--and body--away.

And finally:

"Friendly Competition 2" (Custom Story)
Nyx and Malachai are ready for more fun and games--all in good sport, of course. That's too bad for the afternoon crowd awaiting to depart at a busy airport.
