Tamer's Coming! An update and some gratitude
Hello everyone!
This is the project director of Tamer: King of Dinosaurs. I'm here to say that we are on target and barring any sort of major issues with the Steam approval process, we should be launching block 1 of the game into Early Access on May 26th, 2026 - just a few weeks away.
The past month or so has been spent bug testing the game with brand new, dedicated team, some of whom volunteered right here on Patreon to help us prepare the best possible build we can for the public.
We've found and eliminated several pesky soft and hard locks, crashes, and also identified some unique hardware problems that we would have otherwise been unable to detect internally.
It has been a difficult process for sure, but the initial delay was the definitely the right call as we now have a game on our hands that we know will be much more impressive.
UPDATED DEMO
Once the game is ready, we intend to expand the current demo so you can play almost to the end of the first day of the story. That means you'll actually be able to take part in gathering, overworld exploration and especially melee combat.
This should drop at the same time as the full release for those of you that are still on the fence as to whether you want to purchase the game or not.
REGION LANGUAGE SUPPORT
The translation process is still underway, but it looks like we're going to have Chinese (traditional and simplified), Russian, Spanish and Japanese for launch.
We hope to expand to other regions not long after, such as having Portugese, French and German on the list.
It is also our intention to release a totally SFW version of Tamer as a separate Steam page so regions like Germany and China can play it without limiting access. This should be available later in 2026, potentially around Q3/Q4.
RECENT MEDIA COVERAGE
Now that release is approaching, we've had some larger YouTube channels cover us, and we're extremely grateful! Our wishlists are growing in number and it's been nice for the team to see how much everyone is anticipating this game.
To show our gratitude, we wanted to post two of the channels that have put Tamer's name out there recently and ask that you give them some views. However, please note neither of these creators are officially part of the project, they have not asked us to do this and their coverage was not sponsored in any way.
SEX POSITIVE GAMING
SPG has been active for quite some time now and they are, hands down, one of the best channels on YouTube for serious and intellectual coverage of the adult gaming market, both from a consumer and business perspective. They named Tamer as their most anticipated title for 2026 and we certainly hope we meet their expectations! If not, we know we can count of them to provide fair, detailed and excellent feedback we can use to improve the project.
DISASSOCIATE
Disassociate has some of the funniest, quick-witted editing in the modern YouTube era for a gaming channel and we hope they continue to grow their audience and keep doing what their doing far into the future. Along with covering mainstream titles, they've also been covering the adult market for a while now. If you want to get hyped for Tamer and have a good laugh, check this channel out!
WHAT'S NEXT?
We're going to make another public post prior to launch to confirm we'll make the date and also answer some question we've received.
