Intro :

This mini mod was inspired by my nephew, he attends preschool, and they use an app that sends parents updates on what their kids have been doing throughout the day. I thought, what if I made something like that for the Sims? This mini mod introduces an app called “TinyTots” where parents can check in on how their toddler is doing throughout the day. Parents also receive a weekend report every Friday. This mini mod also includes a simple preschool system but this isn't the main feature of this mod, the app is. You can use this app with any other preschool system.

Please read the full post before downloading. IT'S ESSENTIAL TO READ BEFORE DOWNLOADING MY MODS. I won't be answering questions that are already covered below.

How does it work?

MAKE SURE TO DO THESE STEPS OR THE APP WON'T WORK.

First, enroll your toddler in preschool. On a computer, go to the "household" category and select "Enroll in Preschool" this has a §50 fee. Once you've enrolled your toddler, they will receive a reward trait “Preschool Student”. If you don't get the notification that means the toddler didn't get the trait, also please don't forward the time faster because you will miss the sim picker to choose the toddler. If the registration option isn't showing up for you, just cheat the trait with UI Cheats.

Second, sign up for the Tinytots App. On a computer, go to the "household" category and select "Sign up for TinyTots App" it has a §10 fee. Once completed, you'll get a reward trait, this is basically your paid subscription to the app lol! “Tinytots Member” Once you have the "subscription", the app will appear on your phone.

Preschool System :

Preschool starts at 8:30 and finishes at 4:00 is very simple, you need to go on your sims phone go to travel category and you’ll see “send toddler to preschool” . You can send multiple toddlers at a time! Preschool is totally free since you've paid for the enrollment.

Note: If your toddler is on a second floor when you select them to go to preschool and they have a level 1 movement skill, teleport them to the first floor first. Toddlers with level 1 movement skill won't go down the stairs and will ignore the action.

While they're away at preschool, they will work on all their skills: thinking, imagination, potty training, and movement. They'll also gain points in some of their life skills: responsibility, manners, and emotional control (Character Values come with Parenthood Stuff Pack)

If you don’t want to use my preschool system and continue to use another preschool system by another creator but still want to play with the TinyTots App then you got a few options:

1. Click on your adult sim, go to actions then annasiims mods then tinytots and cheat the tinytots memeber app trait. Same follows for the toddler. These traits will give you access to the app and toddlers “profiles” in the app. No it won’t conflict. The main thing of this mod is the app, not the preschool system.

2. Cheat the necessary traits with UI Cheats

3. Just do the normal process of enrolling your kid to preschool and signing up for the app. The important thing is that you have the traits.

**Known issue (02/04/26) : If both sims leave the lot while the toddler is in the rabbit hole (preschool) a popup will occur that you need to send them to daycare. Apparently this happens bc the game constantly checks for toddlers to not be left unattended. You can use another creator preschool system if you mind this like I've mentioned before the main feature of this mini mod is the app, not the preschool system. You can use this mod without sending them to my preschool system.

App Features :

There's 6 categories to choose from in "Check Toddler Updates" SOME of these notifications are based on your toddler's traits and quirks like picky eater, aggressive, destructive, etc. (Toddler quirks come with Growing Together EP)

You also get another section where it says "End Of Week Report". Every friday you can view your toddler's weekly report! This interaction is ONLY available on friday's

• The app is available for Teens-Elders, all you have to do is buy the subscription.

• If you have more than one toddler, you'll have the option to choose which toddler you want to check up on first.

• The app is available until your toddler ages up to a child, obviously if your toddler isn’t in preschool, don’t use the app lol, you'll ruin the fun, the immersion unless you're delusional like me you can pretend you're reading past updates.

• With each category you'll get a random notification and buffs.
