NEXT VIDEOS

Hello everyone!

I've got a new batch of videos ready! This time we'll have a combination of theory, some very well-known characters, and projects for all skill levels. From basic airbrush techniques to truly ambitious figures where we'll work on countless details and different effects.

Also, since we're in the month of Halloween, we couldn't leave out a classic horror movie character. Let's take a look at everything that's coming!

THEORY: DIFFERENT AIRBRUSH TECHNIQUES

- Airbrush Techniques (Basic Level) — First Steps and Full Academy

This video came about thanks to a request from one of the students, and I think it's a fantastic idea because airbrushing isn't simply about pulling the trigger and applying paint. There are different ways of working depending on the result we want to achieve. We'll see how to adjust paint dilution, what pressure to use, and how to control the trigger to achieve different effects. A very practical video where we'll learn how to get much more out of our airbrush.

FREDDY KRUEGER

Halloween is just around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than by painting one of the most iconic characters in horror movie history! For this occasion, I've chosen this fantastic Freddy Krueger figure from our friends at Wicked. And the best part is that we're going to paint the entire figure using simple techniques, so even beginners can enjoy the process.

- Freddy Krueger: Head (Easy Level) — First Steps and Full Academy

We'll start by painting Freddy's face, undoubtedly one of the character's most distinctive features. We'll work on his wounds, burns, and different skin tones using easy-to-follow techniques. The goal will be to achieve a striking result without having to resort to overly complicated procedures.

- Freddy Krueger: Clothing and Base (Easy Level) — First Steps and Full Academy

In the second video, we'll tackle his famous red-and-green striped sweater, which might seem complicated at first glance, but we'll learn how to paint it in a simple and organized way. We'll also work on the base, where we'll have fun creating rust and weathering effects. A perfect opportunity to learn some very useful techniques while keeping everything at an easy level!

MYSTIQUE

We'll continue with this spectacular Mystique figure from our friends at Poly Mind Studios. A figure full of personality, with a very interesting color combination and different surfaces that will allow us to learn many techniques. This time, we'll increase the difficulty a little, but always trying to keep the process clear and accessible.

- Mystique: Skin (Intermediate Level) — First Steps and Full Academy

We'll start with one of the most important elements of the figure: her distinctive blue skin. We'll aim for a realistic finish, working on the highlights, shadows, and different tones that will give volume and a natural appearance to her anatomy. All of this using intermediate-level techniques, without making the process unnecessarily complicated.

- Mystique: Costume and Hair (Intermediate Level) — First Steps and Full Academy

In this second video, we'll face two very different challenges. On one hand, her spectacular reddish hair. On the other, her white costume, which will require quite a bit of patience and good control of contrasts. As you already know, painting white is never as simple as it seems, so this will be a magnificent opportunity to learn how to work with this color correctly.

- Mystique: Base (Intermediate Level) — First Steps and Full Academy

We'll finish the figure by painting its base, where we'll be able to enjoy some of my favorite effects: dirt, rust, dust, and different textures. We'll learn how to combine these effects to create a convincing environment, full of detail, that perfectly complements our Mystique.

DOCTOR STRANGE

And now we come to the most ambitious project in this batch of videos. This incredible Doctor Strange figure is absolutely spectacular! Its size, the quality of the sculpting, and the enormous amount of detail mean that we have a real challenge ahead of us. These will be long videos, packed with content and advanced techniques, where we'll try to take the painting to the highest possible level.

- Doctor Strange: Face (Advanced Level) — Full Academy

We'll start with the face, a fundamental part of conveying all the character's personality. Although we're working with a comic book character, the sculpting is of such high quality that I think it deserves the most realistic treatment possible.

- Doctor Strange: Clothing (Advanced Level) — Full Academy

In this second video, we'll have a huge amount of work to do. Doctor Strange combines very striking colors, different fabrics, and an enormous number of folds and details. Our goal will be to make all those colors work together harmoniously, maintaining good contrasts and consistent lighting. It will be an extensive video where we'll work on different materials, textures, and advanced techniques to get the most out of the sculpting.

- Doctor Strange: Base (Advanced Level) — Full Academy

And to finish, we have a base ahead of us that could practically be considered a figure in its own right. Its size and the number of elements it contains will give us the opportunity to explore a wide variety of painting techniques. It will be a demanding project, but also a magnificent opportunity to learn and experiment while completing a truly impressive figure.

As you can see, we have a month full of content ahead of us, with very different projects and options for all skill levels. I hope you enjoy watching these videos as much as I've enjoyed preparing them and painting each of these figures.

I want to remind you, as I always do, that during this month I'll be painting and recording the videos, but they'll probably be fully published by the beginning of next month.

Thank you for your supportI want to sincerely thank everyone who supports this project. None of this would be possible without you. Each of you is important, and together we’re making this community grow every day.If you’re not subscribed yet, I encourage you to join us. See you soon in the videos.
