🔥IMPROVEMENTS

Hello everyone.

Today I’m here to bring you a series of updates and improvements that we have on Patreon, which have been implemented over the last few days or will be implemented in the coming days.
They are very small changes and are simply intended to improve and bring more clarity to the experience of this painting academy.
Really, nothing essential is going to change at all; they are just small details so that everything is clearer and simpler.

Something that I assume you will all have already seen is that, in the latest videos, since I made a new equivalency chart and the brands have changed practically their entire paint catalog, we now have new labels every time a new color appears in the videos.
These labels have three equivalents and, as you already know, later, in the video description, you also have all the colors listed with their equivalents, in case you want to make a shopping list with the ones needed for that tutorial or have them ready before you start painting.

Another thing that is going to change on Patreon is the video thumbnails.
from now on, we will have different thumbnails for the preview videos and the tutorial videos.
In addition, on these thumbnails, at a simple glance, you will be able to see the miniature I am painting, the number of the video within the series, the difficulty level of the painting work, the subscription level required to be able to watch that video, and what is going to be painted in that video.
This way, it will be much easier to identify which video you are looking for directly just by looking at the thumbnail.

And surely, when you saw this thumbnail, you will have noticed another one of the changes.
And that is that I have changed the name of the subscription levels.

initial subscription is now called First Steps, because it is precisely a subscription for learning theory, learning which airbrush,compresor, paint to buy, learning some color theory, and watching all the videos in the theory collection category....
And with this level you also get access to the easy-level videos, and right now I am trying to make sure that every month there is one complete easy-level figure, as well as some selected intermediate-level videos that I think are interesting for you to watch if you are a beginner, so that you can start introducing some slightly more complex techniques.
But, again, I wanted to change the name to First Steps to better reflect what you will get with this subscription.

And then, the Advanced-level subscription, will now be called Full Academy.
Which means that, by subscribing to this subscription level, you will have access to all the videos.
And then you decide whether you watch the easy-, medium-, or advanced-level videos, depending on your level.

I think this way all of this is a little clearer and better explained for those who want to join this Painting Academy.

And the final improvement that I am going to implement, which you have also asked me for —which is why communication with you is very important, because that way I know what you want—, is the creation of community chats.
A few months ago I created a Discord, but I found it quite difficult to link Discord with Patreon.
So I think it will be better to create two chats in the coming days so that we can talk as a community.
One so that you can show your completed work and your figures, and another that will be available only for Full Academy-level subscriptions, where you can leave your recommendations for tutorials for me to make.
There you will be able to tell me which characters and which specific figures you want me to paint and at what difficulty level.
That will help me a lot to know what the community really wants.
