Hello everyone!

The next batch of new videos comes packed with a wide variety of content: we will learn how to repair major printing errors and work on three spectacular figures with difficulty levels adapted to different types of painters. We will begin with a basic repair technique and then paint Batgirl, Arthas, and Vi, exploring everything from simple and accessible methods to advanced finishes with realistic metals and OSL lighting effects.

How to fix large cracks (basic level):

In this video, I will show you how to solve some of the most significant problems that can appear on a printed figure. We already have several tutorials dedicated to concealing small joins between pieces, but this time we will see what we can do when a piece has a large hole, has a considerable crack, or has broken after a fall. We will learn how to repair this damage so that the flaw is completely unnoticeable in the final result. This video will be available for the Initial and Advanced subscriptions.

Batgirl: face (easy level):

The first figure in this batch will be Batgirl, a very special model created by our friends from Rechtag’s Patreon. A few months ago, they wrote to me to tell me that they were preparing their project and asked me for some suggestions for future models. After talking for several days, we agreed that it would be great to work on a Batgirl figure, and the time has finally come to paint her. We will begin with the face using a simple and accessible approach, designed so that everyone can follow the process and enjoy painting this figure. This video will be available for the Initial and Advanced subscriptions.

Batgirl: suit (easy level):

In the second video, we will paint her characteristic black suit with gold details. We will work on this powerful color contrast, one of the elements that makes Batgirl’s design so recognizable, aiming for an attractive finish without using excessively complicated techniques. This video will be available for the Initial and Advanced subscriptions.

Batgirl: base (easy level):

To finish the figure, we will paint a base featuring a gargoyle. This type of setting fits perfectly with any character related to the Batman family, so we will enjoy building a dark and urban atmosphere through an easy-to-follow process. This video will be available for the Initial and Advanced subscriptions.

Arthas: face (advanced level):

Arthas has been one of the figures you have requested the most. After painting Thrall, this month the time has finally come to work on this character. We will begin with the face using an advanced approach, as I want the final result to be at the same level as the orc figure. We will carefully work on the expressions, volumes, and different nuances of the skin to achieve a truly spectacular finish. This video will be available for the Advanced subscription.

Arthas: armor and base (advanced level):

In the second video, we will paint the armor and the base. We will create realistic metals with intense reflections and a strong sense of shine. In addition, we will incorporate an OSL effect produced by the light from some torches, whose illumination will be projected from the base toward the figure. It will be an advanced process in which we will work on the metal, the atmosphere, and the integration of the lighting. This video will be available for the Advanced subscription.

Vi: face (intermediate level):

The last figure of the month, also chosen through voting, will be Vi. To paint her face, I have prepared an intermediate-difficulty approach. The challenge will be to achieve a striking and spectacular face without resorting to an overly complex process, so it will be very interesting to see how we simplify each step without losing quality in the finish. This video will be available for the Initial and Advanced subscriptions.

Vi: clothing and base (intermediate level):

In the second video, we will paint the clothing and the base of the figure. On this occasion, the process will have an intermediate level of difficulty and will require less work than what we previously did with the Jinx figure. Even so, we will aim for a carefully executed finish, with good contrasts and proper integration between all the elements of the composition. This video will be available for the Initial and Advanced subscriptions.

Vi: gloves (advanced level):

To finish, we will dedicate a complete video to Vi’s enormous gloves. We will work on advanced-level metal effects and add high-quality OSL lighting to achieve an especially striking result. In any case, during the video dedicated to the clothing, I will also share some tips for those who want to paint the gloves using a simpler method without taking them to such an advanced level. This video will be available for the Advanced subscription.
