Back from Monte!

Hi Patreons

After an amazing weekend attending the Monte San Savino show I'm back home. I'll say that I'm full of inspiration after seeing the amazing works on display in the show! The trip was really great. Got to see old and new friends alike. I was insanely excited about seeing Leila Khalilis 'adrift' sculpt in person, since I had some part in the art direction on that piece. Can't wait to get started on the box art for that one!

This was my first time in the masters category in Monte and I'm proud to say that i got a bronze medal in historical painting. I can't show you the piece just yet, but I will soon! My fantasy display didn't place but after seeing the high standard in that category I wasn't expecting much tbh.

I'm also super happy for my friend Torben, who won best of figure (sculpting) for his Archer (see pic). This is a truely unique piece that I'll be sharing more exciting news about soon. Who knows, it might just be commercially available to paint down the road ;)

I'll get back to the video on besærk and discussing the OSL effect, that'll be out soon!
