My latest miniature - Susana

Hi everyone,

I'm happy to share some pictures of my latest paintjob! I had a lot of fun with painting this figure and I was really drawn to the frail look of the character - so I wanted to represent this with my use of color, light and shadow.

Therefore, I wanted to explore desaturated delicate skin tones as an homage to the painting Susana and the Elders by Artemisia Gentileschi, that was the inspiration for this sculpt.

It's sculpted by my super talented friend Leila Khalili and if you want a copy for yourself, you can find one on her on her webshop here

This miniature was painted with the Patrick J Jones paintset from Mindworks and I've written a bit more about this in my paint review that you can find on my page.

I hope you like this figure as much as I enjoyed painting it.

Thanks for reading!
