I want to paint with you!
Last summer, I was supposed to fly to the US to teach a weekend miniature painting workshop.
Unfortunately, I had to cancel the trip due to unforeseen circumstances.
It was disappointing especially because I was really looking forward to teaching everyone in person.
Since then, I’ve been thinking a lot about that workshop.
What actually makes a weekend workshop valuable?
What do students really walk away with?
And more importantly:
How can I offer that experience to more painters regardless of where they live?
After a lot of work, I’m very happy to finally share this with you:
Foundations of Miniature Painting - a 6-week online workshop
This workshop brings together the core ideas I rely on every single day as a professional painter:
Understanding light and volume
Developing confident brush technique
Mixing and controlling color
In other words - the fundamentals. The things everything else builds on.
The workshop combines:
• Pre-recorded demonstrational videos
• Weekly assignments to apply what you learn
• Live-streamed feedback sessions where I review work and answer questions
My goal is to give you the framework that I use everyday as a professional painter - and to give you a strong confidence in the fundamentals - so that you'll become an independant artist.
Painting live-stream and workshop Q&A
I’d also love to invite you to join me live here on Patreon this coming Monday (March 11th).
I’ll be painting, talking more about the workshop, and answering any questions you might have.
You can find the event here:
Thank you for being here - whether you’re a free member or a long-time supporter.
Your support is what makes projects like this possible.
I hope to see you Monday.
