Over the past few weeks, I’ve written about composition, decision-making, structure, and the difference between copying and understanding in miniature painting. If those ideas have resonated with you - this online workshop is where we put them into practice.
For six weeks, we’ll work through:
Light and volume
Structural sketching
How to paint Skin, Hair, Fur, Cloth, Leather and NMM
Bi-weekly assignments
Refinement and reassessment
Weekly live feedback sessions
It’s a structured progression that builds week by week.
Once we begin, the group moves forward together, and enrollment will remain closed throughout the course.

When can we catch the next cohort? Also, I've only been painting a year... is this course likely beyond my skill level or is it open to all?
This workshops is designed for new(ish) painters - so with a years' experience you should be just the right place for the class! In terms of a future cohort I want to build upon and adjust the format based on the experiences of this first cohort. It will likely be late summer/early fall. Can U.S. students be exempted from VAT? For online courses we shouldn't be subject to paying it.
