Would horror and thriller themes fit into Velocity?

While writing an interesting scene in chapter seven, I had an idea to include some horror and thriller scenes into the story, resulting in many mysterious deaths that your MC can solve.

I won't say no more on what it will be, but would you like this theme to be implemented into the story. Since Halloween is coming up next month I thought it would be cool to add it.
