I can confirm the codex and gallery are working properly now on an existing save/new and without any other error messages popping up going through the entire VN.

So on old saves the Codex works and shows all character slots, on a new save it does not work and crashes. Also on a new save the game crashes when you reach the first interaction with Rin.
"on a new save it does not work and crashes" you mean when starting the game from the beginning or just when saving the game after loading an old save?
You still can't open the codex in the main menu. It does open properly if you open from in the game. Will check other things when I get a chance.
