Excellent video! The head creatives of Netflix projects tend to give up on their creations when it becomes uber popular for some reason, see squid game. Like you said in the video, the immense commercialization really takes out the great initial artistic vision and leaves a hollow shell for consumerism :((((
if the show didn't end at season 2, i wish they had stuck to nameless/faceless horror and human greed/violence being the main antagonists. making vecna the face of evil makes it all less scary. like, that's just a dude.
not even really a dude! just a thing! you could replace him with a rabid dog and it would probably be more interesting (cujo is a scary movie!)
