Bonus video - Patron's choice!
Happy holidays, friends! As promised, I made a video exploring some of your suggestions. The Country Crush segment ended up being a little long since I did it in commentary format, so I'm releasing that as a separate video along with this one.
I also have my Christmas Lifetime video coming out on the main channel later today. I know, 3 videos in one day! As I was editing main channel vid I realized I offhandedly said in the outro that I "recently released" a Patron's choice video, so I had to get it out before my Christmas vid lol.
Enjoy! Captions coming in the next few days.

Highly recommend you check out the Australian version of Project Runway, which only went from 2008-12. It had a much lower budget and also generally less experienced contestants and the result of this was that the show seems significantly more challenging on a technical level. I cannot convey how funny the show is.
OK I was watching this and got to your tangent about the GBF's styling being so weird and I think I figured it out: he dresses like a straight woman. Like yes, it is a queer man/non-binary person cross-dressing, but the styling is that of a straight woman circa 2013-2015 in a lot of instances, except for maybe that sheer daisy crop top. Also all of the wigs are absolutely atrocious.
Oh man, seeing Get Krack'n was awesome - they did two seasons of a parody cooking show called The Katering Show and it's genuinely one of my favourite things on youtube
i, too, loved the secret eaters video and i would absolutely never get over it if you did a project runway/dallas cowboys video or any such similar thing lol
upon finishing video i also need to add that the interior decor of the "bennet" house in townhouse confidential is wild. just an assault to the retinas.
wait so i would actually LOVE to hear your thoughts on skam! not a bad media kind of thing but the YA cringe teen content could fit into your niche. even as a patreon exclusive video/snippet!
mostly unrelated, but the Q&A section made me wanna ask if the video if you writing a lifetime movie is still on the table? i rewatched a video where you mentioned it and it sounded so funny again
OMG It was just a silly little recommendation, I never expected you to respond with a review, that's amazing! And yeah, it's probably more accurate to say it's an amalgamation of morning TV programs. I said it reminds me of Ellen because in Season 2 they do this bit obviously ripping off the Mariah Carey forced pregnancy reveal.
Wait this video was a banger, the entire thing felt like an extravaganza
Merry Christmas Jane and fellow patrons 😸😼
Whenever you mention the Media Exorcisms it’s always highly relatable. New interests always feel like sparklers to me: they’ll burn bright and fast, but once they’re done, they’re done. Sometimes they return with a vengeance, but they also seem to be calendar locked to a specific time of year. Weird stuff
Thank you for taking my suggestion! I found this movie by accident while looking for another movie and I realized like 20 seconds in that this was absolutely the wrong movie but by then I was hooked. It's just bonkers in literally every way and I needed someone else to understand the insanity of it. I agree with everything you said, although my personal favorite scene is when the Mr Darcy character rejects his mom by eating pizza. Anyway I'm glad you approve and thanks!
The pizza scene is great! It was hard to even know what to talk about bc there was so much to unpack, the ideal way would be to go through scene by scene, second by second
As someone who has seen the Halle Berry Catwoman movie, this script/plot sounds like an improvement in terms of feminist theory... but that isn't saying a lot.
we are spoiled today! happy holidays, jane! cannot wait to make my family watch these with me
Sorry not sorry for leaving THREE comments, but if you ever wanted to read a Jane Austen book, as a Lifetime enjoyer I highly recommend Northanger Abbey, it's basically a commentary on the Lifetime movie/true crime girlies of its day
If you liked the Get Krack!n show, they previously did a cooking show parody called "The Katering Show" that's all up on YouTube. It's a regular rewatch of mine and the episodes are super short so it's a super casual watch.
The Kates have also written and produced 'Deadloch' on Amazon Prime, a black-comedy murder mystery with a lesbian protagonist. Underrated national treasures, both of them.
Also your cat is PERFECT and I would watch an entire Patreon video that is solely cat photos
You would probably enjoy the Burton Batman movies, they're so deeply 90s, but honestly if you haven't seen the Adam West Batman series I recommend that one more, particularly if we're talking the quality of Catwomen (no shade to Michelle, but the three Catwomen of the 60s are particularly iconic)
I've seen the occasional episode of the 1960s series because of my nerd dad who watches a lot of MeTV!
