Apocalich is a small RPG where you race against time to fight an evil Lich King. The Lich is walking around doing things to become stronger just like you. When he is all powered up he will prompt the inevitable final fight.
You can see the entire map at all times, so you can see what the lich is doing, what NPCs are doing and what other players are doing. Yes, you can play co-op locally!
I was inspired by old MMORPG's that I used to play as a kid. I recently replayed Flyff with some friends for a day and we tried to get as far as possible.
I wanted to recreate that feeling of working together and trying to achieve as much as possible in a short amount of time, except this time you don't grind in vain, but with the clear goal to defeat the final boss at the end of it!
If you don't have any co players, don't feel bad! There is a dog you can save and a mercenary you can hire that will help you out - IF you play your cards right.

Do you need game controllers to play co-op? or can you use the same keyboard?
you need controllers, you need too many keys to have multiple players on keyboard i think
