Tiniest Desires Full Roadmap (Future Content)
Hello! I thought I would make a quick post going over everything I plan to add into Tiniest Desires. The 0.2.0 update should be coming out towards the end of July. It will feature the beginning to chapter 2, and the introduction to new characters. As for everything going forward:
Multiple Endings / Game Over Scenes - Throughout the game, you could run into various situations that result in a bad ending. If Yasushi is accidently harmed in any sort of way, this will result in a bad ending. Yasushi will be the only character who cannot be harmed without severe consequences. As for every other tiny, they're all yours!
Hamster Cage - Tinies will be kept inside the hamster cage. You will be able to talk to them, eavesdrop on them, and play with them. You can also get rid of them if you so please, removing them from the entire story going forward. If you wish to see their full story, I would recommend keeping them alive. I am also considering some sort of affection system, but that is still in the planning stage.
Expanded House - More of the house will open up as you progress.
Free time events - Free time events will slowly become more bold, and more disturbed as time goes on. While most will be for Yasushi, some can be made for other surviving tinies.
Everything after chapter 2 - Chapter 1 and 2 will not feature too many crazy scenes. The point of Tiniest Desires is to slowly build things up. Chapter 3 and onwards will have a much different feel, and will be the main focus of the game. The idea is to have some of the early game choices affect things that happen later on.
Soundtrack - I am planning a custom soundtrack. This is still a W.I.P.
Size Consistency - I don't think it's been too much of a problem, but I would like to keep Yasushi's size relatively consistent. Each tiny is meant to be around the size of a thumb, but the exact measurements will be made vague on purpose.
Now that I am done with character design and sprite creation, I'm pretty much set to just focus on adding new scenes. I hope everyone will enjoy the things to come. Tiniest Desires is not only meant to be a size game, but it is also meant to be a more grounded story from the perspective of a female. There aren't many like it, so I want to make sure it is exactly how I want it to be!
