Formula One 2001 | Showcase and Development Updates | Coming Autumn 2026
We’re bringing the next generation of Formula One classic cars to Assetto Corsa, thanks to your incredible support!
The wait is almost over. We're excited to officially begin revealing our Formula One 2001 Season, built entirely from scratch for Assetto Corsa in collaboration with MHR – My Home Racing.
We're proud to carry on MHR's legacy and continue their work on the 2001 cars, giving each one the same level of care, attention to detail and commitment to accuracy that defined their original work.
The season will be released gradually, with each car launching as it reaches the level of quality and accuracy we expect. The first release will be the legendary Williams FW23, a true V10 beast driven by Juan Pablo Montoya and Ralf Schumacher, featuring the most detailed model we've build.
We'll continue sharing development updates as new cars are built and completed, so be sure to check out our latest post and stay tuned for future reveals and release announcements.
The FW23 will be released on 31/07/2026, with EVO release to be announced soon. ✅
This collaboration goes far beyond working with top-tier 3D artists. It allows us to deliver Formula One cars with an uncompromising level of visual detail and accuracy, setting a new benchmark for simulator quality.

WORK IN PROGRESS - SHOWCASE
Redefining Classic Formula One in Sim Racing
The season will feature every car built to the highest standard possible, from the leading teams to the midfield and backmarkers, with no exceptions. Every car is treated with the same level of care, authenticity, and attention to detail, exactly how we envisioned it from the very beginning. Extensive photographic references and highly detailed technical illustrations made by Giorgio Piola were used throughout development to ensure every shape, surface, and aerodynamic detail is represented as accurately as possible.
Williams FW23, McLaren MP4-16, Jaguar R2, Jordan EJ11, Benetton B201 and Sauber C20 — currently in development for the 2001 grid.
Recreate the authentic TV onboard camera experience and relive the epic moments of the 2001 Formula One season.
A Tribute to the Golden Era of Formula One
Reminiscing on one of Formula One’s most defining seasons, 2001 marked the height of Ferrari’s dominance, with Michael Schumacher securing his fourth World Championship. It also introduced rookie Juan Pablo Montoya, whose fearless battles with Schumacher became some of the season’s most memorable moments, while McLaren and Williams continued to fight at the front.
With iconic V10 engines, intense rivalries, the Michelin vs Bridgestone tyre war, and the unmistakable atmosphere of early-2000s Formula One, 2001 remains one of the sport’s most iconic seasons.
This is more than simply recreating the cars. Our goal is to bring 2001 back to life, relive its real moments, rewrite history and create your own. With modern technology such as DLSS 5, once fully optimized for Assetto Corsa, these iconic cars can be experienced in a completely new way.
With improved physics and AI, we aim to deliver a truly competitive racing experience, from complete race weekends to full championships, with AI that fights for position and matches the detail of every car.
We’re building something truly special. Unlike projects focused on quantity, our priority has always been precision, research, and authenticity. Quality over volume, always.
Next Generation of Formula One Classic Cars
Your support and feedback allow us to keep refining each season, improving the physics, building more complete championships, and continuing to create the most accurate fully scratch-made Formula One cars possible.
We're building something truly special. Unlike projects that have been around for years and release models in large quantities with low-quality builds, our priority has always been precision, research, and authenticity. Quality over volume, always.
What also sets our project apart is that every team receives the same level of care and attention to detail. Each car is treated as its own piece of history, from the front-runners and midfielders to the backmarkers. This is an approach rarely seen in the modding community, and even less often in complete modern racing titles.

Where and how do you prefer bugs or issues being reported? The BAR has a bug on the tire texture, internal and external sounds are broken.
Hey, Thanks for sharing that! you can leave the feedback here since this is the post for the 2001 development. Once I get to update each season, I gather feedback from the comments of each mod, so here is the place to report any issues on 2001.
Hi! I’m building an offline MF Ghost project with production cars (Ferrari, Porsche, GT-R, Audi, etc.). Is your AI behavior universal, or mainly tuned for Formula 1? If it works well for production cars too, I’d definitely be interested in upgrading my membership. Thanks!
