May Update – Precision Farming, Broiler Chickens, and New Maps!

Hey everyone!

We’ve got a lot of exciting progress to share this month across several projects:

Precision Farming Ready

We’re happy to announce that Monteith, Monteith Row Crop, and Farmville are now fully compatible with Precision Farming! Each map has received a custom soil map, making the gameplay experience more immersive and true-to-life for players who like to farm with precision. These updates are now available at drmodding - itch.io

Monteith Row Crop Ready version may not play well with RCR so please help me test it and report any bugs.

Broiler Chicken Mod – Nearly There

One of the biggest undertakings lately has been the Broiler Chicken mod, and we’re excited to say that the core development is finished. This wasn’t a simple tweak—we had to build an entirely custom script and mod from scratch to make broiler chickens function the way we intended. That’s taken some time, but the hardest part is done.

Now we’re in the final stretch: integrating the system into buildings and getting everything scripted and functional in-game. Once fully tested, the Broiler Chicken mod will be released as a standalone mod compatible with any map. After that, Farmville will be finalized and publicly released.

Two New Maps in Development

We’ve also been working on two brand-new maps:

• Vermont-Based Map – A beautiful region inspired by real Vermont terrain, focusing on dairy farms and maple syrup production. This map offers a scenic and specialized farming experience unique to the Northeast.

• Carroll, Iowa (FS25 Edition) – A return to our roots! We’re bringing Carroll forward into FS25. Monaco is hard at work updating all of our custom buildings, making them more detailed and realistic than ever. These updated buildings will be released to testers in content packs as they’re completed.

Both maps have completed terrain work and are nearing their first early-access release for Patreon testers. Stay tuned for those drops coming very soon.
