PDF or JPG
Hi Dragons,
I wanted to do a short poll figuring out how you would like long comic strips to be posted, Illustrations are going to be jpg. But for long scroll I was told that pdf might be better as you don't have to zoom in.

For my iPhone, the PDF is better, but the jpeg works too! Sometimes, the jpeg can be blurry, but not always.
I almost feel like that happens because you are using the app, if you downloaded the jpegs and looked at them on the phone it should be better.
If possible and it's not too much extra work, both work well. Lifelight does both and I know I prefer PDF but a lot of her other subscribers like JPG since it works for their phones. I dunno if this helps, but honestly, any way you wish to save the files is great! :)
HUHU another Lifelight patron (mee too) XD I actually got the pdf idea from her because It seemed a ton easier!!
It’s a struggle for jpeg on the app so pdf would def be easier for me at least. I was just going to use the website that way it’d be easier for you (I’d rather struggle than make the creator accommodate to me). I wouldn’t wanna be a burden on you about it haha
HEHE no worries! I think saving as pdf or jpeg is just a different button click (I'm only used to doing JPEG for WT reasons) but on Patreon I will start to combine PDFs for these long strip type comics! :D
The app is horrid for long scroll attachments (at least for me) formatted as jpeg, but they’re fine on the website.
the reason it's better from the web most likely is because it's using the phones native photo browser.
I seem to have less difficulty when I download jpeg files on my tablet or mobile phone. I think pdf files are better if im using a computer. Is this the case for anyone else? Or is it just me not knowing how to use technology lol?!
Thank you for letting me know Droala! I think the patreon previews have a have hard time with big image files like this so it's better to download them or view the pdf vers!
