My favorite episode was probably episode 77 when we first saw ✨Charlito✨and ✨alex✨ because that caused the discord server to start naming background characters and I really bonded with a lot of people after those moments and I honestly don’t think I would’ve gotten as close with the other members if that didn’t happen ^w^

My favorite moment was when clove looked like she was down for the count, and kyro gave her the kiss that put some of the red dragon inside her! ^^ It was such a big moment in season 1, during the fight with Jade Viper

my favorite moment is the first ride of clove and kyro because the colors are beautiful and it is the episode of their first kiss. 🥰

There are so many amazingly beautiful scenes 🥺 but one of my favorite scenes is there little date. Everything about that science was so absolutely adorable ❤️

When Nouren didn’t realize Kharis was the beautiful dancer that literally took his breath away. The whole episode was *chefs kiss*. I root for them hardcore it’s not even funny. It showed the beginning of them realizing they found each other through this alliance as well. They open up a little to each other and it’s such a turning point for them. Look at em now

I loved when they were stuck in the cave in the rain as well as when Kyro laid that kiss on her to save her. 😍

The cute spontaneous date into the town. They were able to let loose and be themselves and have a good time. Super cute 😍. Looking forward to season 2 🥰🥰

My favorite moment was when Kyro and Clove were in the cave and Kharis totally runed the moment. Can't wait for season two!!! 🍀🤞

I think my favorite was when Clove went to confront Kyro about his behavior. I feel like then Clove was able to open up fully and say what her feelings were. It was also good for Kyro to get that validation

Clove and Kyro spending the night together and Kyro trying his best not to go ahead and try for that baby dragon 🐉. Bahaha 😂

I would have to say that one of my favourite scenes is from the season finale (episode 91). I really liked how Clove continued to try to do something to get them out and was able to convince her dragon to help her unleash her powers. They were able to work as a team, and save people. Though in all honesty, all of the chapters are good. :)

One of my favorite episodes has to be episode 81. It really set in the conflicts the dragons are facing and seeing the effects Raizo has on others. Despite Kyro knowing how manipulative Raizo is, he still falls to Raizo’s words and misleading statements. It still shows that despite Kyro’s character changing or some say improving over the course of the story(being more open to Clove/working as a team), development does not go up exponentially, it has its ups and downs and that episode really shows that and its one of SZ’s strengths: character development. Ngl, I despised Kyro for a good 2-3 days and had trouble rereading the chapter cause I just could not look at his face and be disappointed at Kyro falling for Raizo’s trick XD, it while its amazing he has down moments (showing him being a human with flaws), it still hurt. I'm looking forward to seeing Kyro deal with Raizo and his influence in season 2 (along with Clove ofc) :D also you really played on us with the dream clove had lmao XD

My favorite moment of season one was when kyro expressed his frustrations that he believed clove wasn’t interested in him! It was really the first time we kinda see him open up about how her not wanting him bothers him and I loved it! It melted my heart! Or my second favorite was when clove was cuddling him in her sleep and he was like DEAR HEAVENS!

When Kyro and Clove leave the palace for an adventure on their own. Even though they did kinda fight at one point, I feel it def brought them closer together 😊 and with that scene where Clove interacts with a kid!! And Kyros reaction!! I can’t lol too cute

🤔I think my favorite moment was when Kyro and clove originally meet. He was standoffish and intense, and though she was trying to be diplomatically polite. Kyro made it increasingly difficult. The friction is what made their gradual understanding of one another so enchanting to me.

There's so many beautiful scenes in this comic, but episode 10 has always stood out to me. To me, it shows the difference of what Kyro and Clove experienced in their youth: one a sheltered, more relaxed and even happy youth, and the other baring responsibilities that should be left to adults. At the same time however, the dream parallels how the war has affected both of them with loss: a mother and a brother. I found it symbolic how Clove remembered her mother, and then climbed the hill to find a battlefield with the man responsible for the continued war her mother was lost to. Despite this and the rude introduction she had the day before, she still comforts him upon noticing he's troubled, which I admire. It's one of the few times we've seen Kyro vulnerable, which he obviously didn't like. There is so much lore and emotion woven into this episode, like how perhaps there's a connection between Clove's mother and Kyro's brother's death. Plus we get some awesome panels of the dragons and how Clove wants to alter their bloody history while Kyro accepted their fate. To me, it shows how Clove is more human, compassionate and wanting to change how things are, while Kyro is more like a dragon, stubborn and quick tempered. From here throughout the story, we see how they help each in their differences and grow to be the power couple we all know. It feels like such an establishing chapter to me and that's why I love it.

Simple! Anytime there’s a dragon! I absolutely love how you draw them. They’re so beautiful and elegant. I hope we will get to see more of the blue dragon soon!

These are beautiful! The dream scenes were always my favorite! I love all of your art, but these just always take my breath away! Especially the *spicy* dreams! 😆

Thank you for this opportunity it’s so kind of you ❤️ My fave subzero moment is probably when we as the audience see that Clove now has both the azure dragon and crimson dragon markings combined into one on her back. It’s a super simple moment, but for me was a shocking and welcome outcome of Kyro’s kiss. So much resulted and is continuing to unfurl from the fact that clove now seems to have essences of both dragons in her body. And the more she sees both the azure dragon and red in her dreams the more I want to know what will happen.

I had to redo mine cause I wrote it at like 4am so it wasn’t the best. Hands down, my FAVOURITE Subzero scenes has to the forehead kiss, the “gentlest of kisses!” as a commenter put it. I love the two episodes it spans over; episode 63 and 64. It’s when Clove attempts to console Kyro after his mother gets worse and the secret is exposed to the crimson and cerulean courts. Its clear he’s in deep though and worry, because it adds even more to his plate; with Clove’s inability to shift, the Jade Vipers and Raizo, but now this. That is a lot! So when she attempts to help him, make him feel like he’s not alone, that he doesn’t have to solely bare the weight of the sky his back, its so completing that she is ready to step up to the plate and help him. You can feel them getting closer in that scene, that the care and sympathy for each other’s similar plights has them thinking about the same things, about each other. But truthfully, they are still on two totally different pages. Whereas Clove wants him to feel emotionally safe and supported with all the grief he's feeling, Kyro wants her to get that along waited closure that he knows she deserves. So that forehead kiss and close contact is him telling her that he’ll be alright, and that he’s willing to support her in that journey, and his problems shouldn’t interfere with that. It ,to me, is the point when he starts to fall further for her, and its sooooo cute. Also the background for the forehead kiss was absolutely beautiful, the sunset was drawn beautifully.

Hmmm difficult to choose just one 🤔I love all kyro and clove moments 💕 their date was one of my favorite moments and ep 74 probably my favorite episode :) and then there's all the dragon moments and.... Just everything XD loved the series since it was on discover 💕

Ahhh this was so hard because I have so many episodes I really like! My favorite episode has definitely got to be episode 75. (And 55 because of NOURIS but we’ll just stick to 75 in this response 😂) We finally get to see Blue and Clove talk with each other even though blue almost killed her again😅 We get to see some of Blue’s thoughts and learn a bit more about the past vessels. It was sad to read how Blue tried to communicate with Clove but all she was met with was silence because both of them couldn’t communicate with each other. (Probably because of the seal?) I love when we get more information about the lore. Or rather more about the Azure clan because they’re still a lot of information we do not know unlike the Crimson clan🤔

Favorite moment of character growth between the Empress and Kyro is when Kyro finally, following Clove's advice, went to visit his mother. By telling her "it's alright, I'm here", he took the first step to putting the past behind them and forgiving both himself and how she had to do what she had to do as the empress.

My favorite moment was before and after they went on their trip out of the palace. Seeing Kyro’s venerability staying away from Clove but still wanting to be with her. When he went in the garden to ask her “I need time to think would you like to join me” along with the sexy drawing of him omg 😳 I was so excited to see their relationship growing while being outside the palace! Thanks Junepurr for this story so addictive!!💜💜💜purple dragons baby!!!

My favorite has to be the parts with the creepy lady. I think she wants them to do it already as much as we want them to 🤣

My favorite moment was when Kyro kissed Clove trying to get her to shift. Just the build up, the artwork. Pure breathtaking

So hard to choose one moment! I loved the end of the season when they were trying to get to each other and ultimately the dragons break through. Clove is finally able to use her power to protect her people and get to Kyro. 👏💜

Oh goodness.... SO many amazing moments. One that truly always sticks out to me, though, is when Kyro and Clove talk to each other in episode 86-87 I believe? The conversation they have is so adult? And mature? And they really are starting to open up to each other. Clove talks about how she’s afraid to have kids and I love how vulnerable it is and how they open up about caring for each other. I just LOVE THIS COMIC!! 💛

Where do I even begin? There are so many favorites of mine. The Kylove moments never fail to make my heart melt. My favorite episode of all time is ep. 83-84. I’ll never be able to put into words what I feel for it. But, in ep. 83, I loved how Clove and Kyro told their feelings, and it was wonderful to see them confide in each other and communicate. You have no idea how happy it made me. I loved how Kyro had insecurities about Clove’s feelings for him. It’s really rare that you see a guy character who acknowledges these feelings or even has them. I feel like his character really shined in this episode. I also loved when Clove kisses him. It’s really nice to see a girl character who takes initiative and instigates affection. I love episode 84 the most, because after they made up they got to kiss a lot and be comfortable around each other. I get lightheaded from all the swooning this episode. Like, I’m blushing SO hard when I read them. My sisters will tease me all the time about it: “YOU’RE READING SUBZERO, YOUR FACE IS RED!” My favorite part is when Clove kisses Kyro’s injured shoulder. It’s so cute!!!! I think my body disintegrated after reading that. I think it really shows how much she cares about him when he thought she didn’t at all. I love that Clove is already a compassionate person at heart, but she really shows Kyro so much extra love, and it makes me so happy. I love reading this episode so much, I can’t exactly explain it.

There have been many grand moments in season 1 that's gotten me on edge, squealed, etc., so that's why I decided to choose a moment that was very subtle LOL. Episode 74 is probably my favorite episode of season 1, and let me tell you why. Clove finally gets some alone time with Kyro, which is great, but there's more to it. To me, this is where Clove realizes just how close she's become with Kyro emotionally; Realizing just how deep she's fallen for him; Being able to get connected with an individual so closely, and not just romantically, without even realizing it was happening. Especially with an individual who was considered an enemy to your people a month or so prior. There's this specific panel in the episode that I didn't wrap my head around until weeks after it was released; It was the panel where Clove's hand was lying on Kyro's chest. I wondered what on earth did it mean? But then a meaning finally hit me. I interpreted it as Clove feeling Kyro's heartbeat and how calm it must've felt; Seeing Clove's face of genuine happiness was so warming. Feeling the heartbeat of your lover or someone you cherish so dearly, it's a feeling nothing can replace or replicate. That scene hit so close to home when I reread it. I always paired this episode with one of my all-time favorite songs playing in the background (it has a similar meaning to how I interpreted this episode too). Overall, I think this episode was the gateway for Clove's feelings to flush out externally (besides episode 83). I can't wait for the next season, June. Keep up the good work :"D

Some of my favorites episodes are from 38-40, where Kyro took the humiliation and beatings from the assassins to get them from hurting Clove further. That shows he really cares for her, even though he doesn't admit it. And that kiss to try to save her from dying. Oof, that kiss was so memorable!

My favorite moment was when Kyro saved Clove with a kiss after the assassins went after her. I felt like it was a pivot point in the story!

Not gonna lie picking a favorite scene is like impossible 😅🤣🥰 every new episode I was using coins to read because I couldn’t get enough. Although I loved their little “date” outside the palace and any cute romantic and honest moment they share 😅🥰 ugh that still wasn’t one haha

My favorite episode was when they wed. I’m a sucker for a good wedding. I love the costumes and page try that occurs when royalty weds

I have SO many favorite moments, Eps and arcs - this is hard! But I have to say ep 57 was my favorite. It's packed with so many different things! *Kyro standing up for Clove/Clove standing up for herself *A sweet moment between them about Clove sacrificing so much and Kyro done putting on a show and letting Clove know he doesn't expect *that* of her on their wedding night. *Kyro ABS *Kyro dragon markings (and seeing Cloves makings too! We don't often see both sets of markings in one ep) *And the HILARIOUS scene of them faking it for the clans elders! (I died laughing). Not only is it hilarious, but they worked together as a team to achieve a goal together and it was beautiful and beautifully funny! *Multiple Kyro smirks and a Kyro blush in one ep!! 😍 *GORGEOUS art from start to finish! Legit, every single panel is freaking magic. It's just one gloriously packed ep and I love it. And it goes so well with the next ep and Kyro dealing with Clove snuggling him in her sleep! And the sweet forehead kiss and him thinking he wished he'd met her sooner so she wouldn't have suffered so long. Like, yas. I just love it alll 💜

I love every episode but my favorite episode has to be 83. It was when Kyro and Clove finally got a chance to talk out their feelings. There was so much built up tension and it was nice to see them be honest with each other. It was such a heartfelt moment when Clove told Kyro how much she cares about him. It was vulnerable moment for Clove to admit she isn’t ready to have a child when there is too much going on in their lives. There is a lot of pressure from the court officials and everyone around them. She already has done a lot for her people by going through with the political marriage. So it was really a significant moment for her to admit she wasn’t ready and for Kyro to respect her decision as well.

I have a ton of favorite moments in season 1, but one tat sticks out is when we saw Kharis dancing in 54 and 55. You saw Kyro being a playful sibling (“I’ve seen better”), and Noren being absolutely smitten. I love watching supporting characters grow and develop, so seeing the chemistry between those two, and some more insight into Kharis was a treat.

Dang, you all got me re-reading! Episode 38 of the assassination arc was definitely one of my favorites. I loved the conflict between Clove, Kyro, and the assassins and how we got to see truly how much Kyro cared for Clove. He put his "pride aside" and kneeled to the assassins. He took hits and blows for her but ultimately knew that she would come back and be the QUEEN that she is and stabbing those gosh-darn rats. AND in episode 39, when Clove said "Your highness, has anyone ever told you that you're a terrible liar?" That right there had me screaming for days, I tell you. This situation also goes to show how good Kyro is at faking everything. When Clove said that, he couldn't hide it anymore. He was scared. He was worried for her, 'cause all his life he was hiding the struggle and feelings about Red, K's death, and even Clove! June, you're truly talented and the fact that you are able to influence and bring people together is truly incredible. The assassination arc was definitely one of my favorites and I cannot say how much I'm looking forward to season 2! We looked behind the "facade," if you will, and saw each character at their highest... and lowest. I'm squealing! Good luck to everyone with the giveaway!! <3

My favorite would be episode 55!! Kharis and Nouren are too cute and seeing their relationship move to another level was so nice. The backgrounds of the garden were also too pretty.

Episode 63 - the forehead kiss. Definitely one of my favorite, if not my favorite, moments. I feel like Kyro poured so many feelings into that kiss - so many things he wanted to say but maybe couldn’t just yet. I loved it! And I love all of their subtle movements together 🥰 This story has so many layers and levels of feeling - I love it!

Episode 83. The whole thing, the two of them airing it all out there. Clove saying how she really feels and Kyro’s acceptance of her feelings. Knowing the time it took to get there and to see them begin to communicate better with each other was wonderful. Plus the kiss at the end was perfect 😘

My favorite moment is when Kyro realizes how much Clove cares: when she is with him visiting his mother in her chambers after they realized how bad her health is. Both Kyro and his mother can truly see her caring heart, behind closed doors. They know/realize it is genuine. The moment when this hits Kyro, that is my favorite moment. When he truly sees this, is overwhelmed, and kisses her forehead afterwards. As someone who is a caregiver, as well as a mother to 2 little ones, I understand that exact overwhelming feeling when you find someone who truly cares about you and your family, with no ulterior motives, that wash of emotions that comes with that realization, it was so genuinely real, you did an amazing job personifying all of that June!!!!!

My favourite moment in season 1 of Subzero was in episode 57 when Kyro throws his robe on top of Clove to assure her that their marriage will not be consummated that night. I felt that this symbolised Kyro’s determination to protect Clove from court politics at his own expense. His half naked state may be alluding to his vulnerability in regards to being emotionally open with Clove. Furthermore, although the moment was brief, Kyro’s acknowledgment of Clove’s ‘sacrifices’ for the alliance, beautifully portrays his character development from perceiving her as an “enemy snake” whom he is bribed to marry for the Crown. To that of an mutually respected partner tried of making “spectacle(s)” of themselves. It is this moment of maturity (before the mischievous plotting 😉) that developed the two protagonists as multidimensional characters. From the outward appearance of two bashful youths but underneath are prudent yet anxious leaders hopeful for a promising partnership with the other. Sorry for the long explanation 😅.

Omg how cute! There's so many but I loved when clove confronted kyro after he'd been avoiding her. It showed so much growth between the two and pushed them to both realize they both care for each other immensely

There are sooo many good episodes but I like around the end of season 1 episode 83 - 84 when Clove makes the 1st move to kiss Kyro and doesn't get timid and back down like she has done in previous episodes

There were so many great moments in season 1 but honestly, my all time favorite is the scene that hooked me on this series, the first time they meet, in Kyro’s pool/bath. I loved the fact that the scene was set up to be the usual “timid girl meets intimidating guy, who is meant to be her husband” trope. The creator could have left this scene be just that and the story would have been just fine but instead, she flips it just long enough to show both characters are so much more then they seem, that they are complex. Which is why I love this WEBTOON and the reason I was hooked. Great story Junepurr! Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us!!

My favorite episode from SZ is the 65th/66th when we saw Raizo's past, it was so interesting and it was sad to see that he loved the empress but she was already in love with another one, like Aaron and Clove, also we got to see a romantic moment between Nouren and Kharis which was so cute and we saw Aaron and Reina, i ship them so hard and love them, they're my two favorite characters, especially Reina haha :D Thank you June for all the efforts that you put in every episodes, you're the best !

My favorite scene is when Clove finally let's Kyro know how she feels! She's holding back because of her fear of making mistakes. Kyro finally gets an answer and relief and feels loved! ❤🥰

My favorite part would be episode 84 after an intense make out session Clove is understanding that Kyro wants to lay with her but is afraid of getting her pregnant. Since in episode 83 Clove admitted she’s not ready to be a mother. Instead they take comfort in cuddling. As a husband and wife normally do.

My favorite is episode 38 when Kyro tells the assassins to take him instead of Clove. He lets them injure him instead of her. It really shows the deep feelings he's developing for her because he would rather save Clove than himself.

My favorite part of SZ S1 was episodes 52 & 53. Although Clove's tactic to calm the angered grieving father was more or less a facade Kyro insisted she play, as I read each word Clove spoke to that man, I fell into their world and could feel the emotion and genuine caring tone Clove spoke with. That segment was also a great way to remind us all that all grudges can be solved and forgiveness is real ☺

This is so cheesy, but I love their wedding night scene! ♥️💛+💙🤍 After all the pomp and circumstance they had to deal with for their wedding, and then to be expected to consummate their marriage in front of elders from both of their sides? I die! The cringe! Then for them to convince the elders to leave them finally, and then for them to put on that loud show so everyone thought they were wild and frisky, but instead they were just trashing the room? I loved it. Loveddd it. It was playful and enjoyable. And I feel like definitely foreshadowed some wild and frisky nights in the future 😉

My favorite part/episode is ep83. I love how they cleared the air between each other. Clove admitted she cares for Aaron but she also admitted that she cares for Kyro. Omg and they kiss and it's just so beautiful. It was a huge turning point for the couple. I really love how they've gotten to a point where they can be more open and understanding towards each other. ❤️💙

Ok I think my favorite scene is either when Kyro shows up in his dragon form and takes clove to the cliff and test her even though he knows how to be careful with her which is 25-27 (episode) and my other one is probably when clove goes all women power and kyro and shows him who boss and also gives him a little bit of a romance in episode 83-84!!!! I also love when kyro gives clove a kiss on the forehead after his mother getting sick love that scene it was beautifully done and was full of emotion!!!

It would have to be when Clove is on the brink of death after fighting off the assassins and Kyro kisses her to bring her back. It let me know that he absolutely truly cares for her and does not want to lose her. 🤗 I also just love when they first met and how sassy Kyro was to Clove but he's really just a softy deep down.

Episode 73 when they kiss in the cave on their getaway. 🥰

My favorite moment is the cave scene in episode 72 I enjoyed this moment as it shows another side to Clove and Kyro as they spend alone time as husband and wife without the officials (and the gossiping chickens XD) breathing down their necks. Not only this scene wholesome it brings them closer together not only as couple but as allies as well. Kyro was able to open up and show his softer side to Clove and admits he’s not perfect and regrets somethings he’s done in his life which is a difference from who he was at the beginning of story meaning he’s starting to trust her more and more which I think is beautiful for his character. Clove was able to open up Kyro and admit she wants to be like him as she is unable to shift showing she trusts him in regards to her secret showing she’s developed beautifully throughout the story. The bond and trust they showed to each other during that scene is truly remarkably written and a delight to read. This is why it remains as my favorite scene to this day.

Mine might be weird but some of my favorite moments were when she was studying the scrolls. It just showed how much she cared and how seriously she takes her role.

After reading the question the very first thing to come to mind and is totally my favorite is on their wedding night after convincing the elders to leave the room and putting on the big show. This was a slightly second hand embarrassment scene but the reason it’s my favorite is because it shows just how much Kyro has grown to respect and care for Clove. I know neither of them were ready for what was asked of them but to me this scene showed how much their relationship had grown and how much they had bonded. <3 <3

My favorite moment is when they kissed for real in the cave 😍 I felt like I had been waiting for that moment my entire life 😂

I really enjoyed their first getaway together, maybe even first date before their first “real kiss” in the cave. I loved they got to escape the palace and have fun. Plus, I lovedddd their new white outfits!!

My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE moment was their wedding day!!!!!! It made my heart burst when Kyro laid eyes on Clove and he was blushing so hard and was taken back! Their outfits was perfection and I aspire my wedding to be as grand and special like theirs
