Gotta love inconsistencies!
Sometimes when you're drawing 80+ panels you start cutting corners subconsciously! Hur Hur no one actually pointed this one out but I find it funny that I would miss this considering my RANT on horse tack a couple of weeks ago!
I hope you guys enjoyed Ep.17 for the background info (and emotional roller coaster). I think the reaction it got is around 60/40 in terms of Clove/Nouren hate lol. I'm glad people are passionate about taking sides, I just hope they understand where the other side is coming from.
I had accusations that I was intentionally writing Nouren to be a bad guy so the reader could sympathize with Clove! (Not true XD) I want readers to form their own opinions about these chars (let's face it, they all are flawed in one way or another). I only hope I can see readers taking sides without completely demonizing these chars and the way they behave.
I'm going to say it once guys:
Nouren is not the villain of this story!
Also, Clove didn't come out of the womb with a perfect sense of agency! So much of her hate is summed up to: "Why is she so weak? Why can't she bench press a tank or clobber 10 men like other MCs? OR Why are her actions so emotional?"
For some of these, I really urge readers to consider when was the last time they DIDN'T make an emotional decision and actually went through life using logic and rationalizing everything.
HUHU rant over guys! I'm planning to have another mini update up next week, I'll post some more wips before the month is over! ^^

Maybe the saddle... fell off
Omg, people need to just breathe and let you tell the story lol. A character who doesn’t need/get development is booooring.
I see her as a teenage girl who has grown up in a volatile situation. Of course she's gonna be emotional. All teens are, even the ones who think they aren't.
I personnally think this hate thing here is a question of maturity. When you understand and knows about how life goes with all its difficulties you understand that neither Nouren nor Clove are hateable. Both of them are acting in an understandable way. One wants to save her mom's life, the other is obeying this same 'mom's order so that her sacrifice hasn't been done in vain. It's a sad moment of life when no one is wrong except the circonstances that lead them there. Your story is good so go on !👍
I felt sad reading the comments for this chapter. Everyone is entitled to an opinion but damn the hate was strong. And some theories on character development just had me facepalm. You're doing great on character development :) I like seeing flaws so you cheer when they get stronger!
Low-Key I'm always sad to see anyone hate one one/more of the chars (since they're all my children lol) but I'm glad that people are passionate in their opinions, I guess they're just that much more invested in the story I guess. I did see some crazy theories tho. Someone said they were quitting the comic because they couldn't stand the main char playing all 3 guys at once..... :D OK
LOL i didn’t even notice 😂 and as for writing Clove and Nouren, i still don’t see why people regard her as weak. She’s learning to navigate a foreign country by herself? and with pretty high stakes too. if it has to do with how she reacts emotionally to things and cries a bunch well binch me too the duck??? i don’t think crying is a sign of weakness tbh, especially when you gotta remember she’s like 19 or 20 with all this bs happening. and damn nouren just keeps getting hotter and hotter in my eyes.... he’s so fine.... doing his JOB and following orders. i can’t wait until we get some inside thoughts of his. maybe his feelings towards clove? 👀👀👀 as always great work~ thanks for the amazing update!!
