Mini Dev Update - Sep 2026

Hi all,

Here’s the public mini development update for September. This is going to be very brief because I can’t cover a whole lot. Chapter 10 is going to start releasing in a few days and I don’t want to spoil any of that by telling you what exactly I’m working on now.

All I can say is that last week, while Chapter 10 was with the testing crew, I started work on posing Chapter 11, and I’m already a good chunk into it. So far, I’m hitting roughly 40-50 renders a day on the days I’ve been able to work on it and that’s between fixing all the issues and typos the testing crew have been throwing at me too.

I won’t give you the usual breakdown of Chapter 11 progress/work to be completed because I’ve literally only worked on it for the best part of 6 days. But I can confirm the render count is already 289.

It's almost like I've made a decision that has completely invigorated my enthusiasm for Origin Story recently and I'm working even harder than I already was as a result.

I’m also expecting Chapter 11 to be much shorter than 10 (which clocks in around 3hrs-ish of play – double what my updates usually are), so hopefully I can complete it quicker. But we’ll see. From now on, I’m not going to give any ETAs until the chapter is nearly done.

K, told you it was gonna be brief.

I hope you enjoy Chapter 10 - and I'll take this opportunity to ask that you be considerate to other players when talking spoilers, at least for a little while.

Peace.
